"Of course not. Cho, stop it. I don't."

"Oh, yes you do. I'm going to get you to say it."

"How will I get you to stop with that ridiculous theory. Will you ever believe I don't like him?"

Cho pretended to think about it, really she'd been leading up to this, "Yes, there is."

"What is it? I'll do anything." You told her.

"You stay away from him for two weeks, just two weeks and you don't like him. That means, no pranking, no owling, no talking, touching or any type of contact. If you can do that for two weeks, it means you don't like him and I'll stop bugging you about it." She said, looking triumphant already.

"And if I don't."

"You have to do two things." She paused to see your reaction.

"Name them."

"1. You have to tell me and Alicia the truth." She said.

"I have been telling you the truth." You argued. But she gave you a look. "Alright, what's the second thing."

"You have to confess to George." She said, you tried to have no reaction but you felt your eyes widen and your face go red.

"But I have nothing to confess to him, we're just friends." You said, emphasizing the "just friends" part.

"Sure." She said, exiting the library.

You ran out behind her, catching her upper arm, "Wait, when does this start?" You asked her.

"Right now. I forgot to mention, you can't speak to George through Fred, you can't even talk about him." Now that would be hard. You thought, but before you could argue, Cho had left and you sighed as you picked up your book.

"Now that she's gone." You heard a voice from behind a bookshelf. It was George.

"How-" Then you remembered the deal and turned to leave.

"Wait, you aren't actually going along with that deal are you?" He asked.

You ignored him and exited but he followed you. "Oh come on, you know you can't resist me." You turned toward the quidditch pitch. "Y/n, talk to me. Cho's not even around here. At least tell me why you're going along with this bet." He begged, but you still said nothing. He pouted and Alicia caught up with the two of you.

"Ooh, breaking the bet already?"

"Wait, you know?" You asked Alicia.

Alicia nodded, "Cho told me to make sure you're keeping your promise. You haven't been talking have you."

George was staring at you with puppy eyes, "She hasn't said a thing to me." He said sadly.

"Oh." She said disappointed, if you admitted to liking George, you'd never hear the end of it from Alicia or Cho. "Well, don't forget, quidditch practice this afternoon. I've gotta study up for the essay in potions, I'm hoping I at least get passing marks. I can't fail our 5th year." Then she headed to the library.

"I heard through the grapevine that she likes Fred. I don't even know why, I'm obviously the better twin." He raised an eyebrow at you when you scoffed, but you still didn't talk to him. He sighed and walked off towards the common room. You were planning on going to the kitchens for a snack, the house elves really liked you, George and Fred.

When you came down without them, Berrie, one of the elves asked you "Where are the red twins?"

"They aren't with me."
