Draco Malfoy x Reader: The Chosen Two Part 2

"Harry? I have a question." You said going up to your brother at the carriages to Hogsmeade.

"Hmm?" He grunted.

"Did, er did you ever speak to Dumbledore?" You asked.

"Yes." He climbed into the carriage and you climbed in with him

"And..did he ask you anything about Professor Slughorn?" You inquired.

"How'd you know?" Harry asked.

You smiled sadly, "He showed me the same thing." You bit your lip, "Harry, I know you're the one with the scar, and Mum's protection...but I have Dad's. We're the chosen two. I think...I think we should get to know him together."

Harry's green eyes which had remained cold to you since he'd caught you and Draco suddenly seemed relieved. "Thank goodness, I thought I'd have to go at it alone."

Hermione and Ron caught up to Harry and you outside the three broomsticks. You sat across from Harry beside Hermione and you made sure to leave a seat between Harry and you on the round table.

Harry waved at Professor Slughorn who came to sit between the two of you. "Well if it isn't the Potters."

"You're both invited to my Christmas party." He looked to Hermione, "You're welcome to come too Miss Granger." As he got up he noticed Ron. "Good to see you Wallumby." Then he walked off.

"What was that about?" Ron asked.

"Dumbledore asked me to get to know him." You and Harry said simultaneously.

"What I want to know is where's Draco?" Harry asked giving you a cold stare. Of course he'd ranted to Ron and Hermione about you and Draco so they knew and neither of them were very fond of the idea.

Guilt swarmed you thinking about what Draco was doing.

At the beginning of the year

Draco took your hands in his, "Y/n..."

"Draco what is it? You barely wrote to me all Summer."

Draco looked worried and he glanced around before continuing. "Y/n, they...they gave me a task."

Before he could say anything else you took one of your hands and carefully pushed up Draco's left sleeve to reveal the dark mark. "Oh Draco..."

Present time

"I dont know." You lied.

"What? He didn't feel like taking you out this week?" Harry criticized.

You glared, "He's busy Harry give him some slack."

"He said he'd prove his worth but I haven't seen him since our little run in. Think he just gave up?"

You pushed up from the table "I'm leaving." Then you walked quickly out, hoping none of them would follow you.

You made your way up to the 7th floor where Draco had shown you the Room of Requirement. You paced in front of the wall, hoping it would reveal itself, but it didn't.

You sat beside it, waiting for Draco, clenching the Sugar Quill you'd gotten him. Soon enough you'd fell asleep, leaning against the wall.

Draco came out of the room and his tight expression relaxed when he saw you asleep on the cold ground. He smiled softly down at you and kneeled to pick you up bridle style. The room revealed itself and the sugar quill fell out of your hand.

The room of Requirement was dark and inside was a comfortable bed with a chair beside it. Draco set u down on the bed and sat in the arm chair. Beside it was a book called "Of Honor and Ambition" he picked it up and light just bright enough for him to read, but not to wake you up came on.
