Enzo

It's been ten years. I guess you want to know what happened to all of us after graduation, huh? Well, we all went to college, got our degrees, and started our own families.

Cade and Andi got married although he got cold feet, she tackled him on the aisle. Some things never change. They got married after she got him in a headlock. Say, I do. Or he was never getting out of it.

Julian and Elias also got married. It was something small and simple. Julian found love, and Elias got to deal with his anger. Only this time, he made sure he gave teddy bears. They were softer and hurt less.

As for Everly and me, we got married. When it came time to say I do, I spoke it. She signed it. It's all about compromise.

As for what we ended up doing, Cade became a teacher while Andi became a coach. God help the cheer team. Julian went into counseling while Elias ended up buying the coffee shop he worked. He promptly fired Mick. Free coffee, woohoo!

Everly and I helped with special needs kids. So we became special education teachers. She worked with kids who needed a little extra attention, and I worked with kids who not only had autism but were deaf.

As for kids, Cade and Andi had a little boy, poor boy. Maybe he will get some self-confidence. It could go either way.

Julian and Elias adopted a little girl. Did you ever see two guys dress and do a little girl's hair? It's pretty scary. Mom and Sylvia helped them. Yeah, they got a lecture from hell from Mom. Good luck, boys.

As for Everly and me, we had a little girl. Guess what? She turned out healthy and okay. We named her Amelia Rainbow after my grandmother and Mom. She had a beautiful heart, so it was fitting. We never saw her once Mom got her hands on her.

We all settled into a beautiful life, which was pretty amazing. You couldn't ask for anything better than that.

Blake

I sat in Dad's office, waiting. Then I heard his voice, shit.

"Seriously, Blake," someone said as I turned to see Cade.

Dad came out. "Take him home. We'll be home shortly."

"Whatever," I said as I got up and strolled out the office. I walked with Cade to his car. We got inside.

"You know you need to stop getting into fights," Cade advised me.

Yeah, that would never happen. Every fight I had, my family would ask the same thing. Why? I refused to tell them.

Cade took me home, and I got out of the car. I didn't care. I went up to my room and slammed the door closed. I knew it was only a matter of time before Cole and Wade got home, and they would ground me again. I didn't care.

I didn't care what happened to me. If my family only knew why I got into the fights I did, then they would understand, but I wasn't about to say anything.

Like clockwork, they came home. We yelled at each other, and I left. It had become common lately. I drove to the boardwalk and got out. I leaned against the railing, staring at the water.

It was easier to watch. It held confusion, just like I did. I was the loner, bad boy at school. I didn't talk to anyone and didn't want to, judgmental pricks. I kept to myself because it was more comfortable that way. I didn't know where my life was heading. I just know it was missing something, and no matter what I did, I felt an emptiness to me.

Until then, I was completely and utterly alone.
