For Halloween, Mom and Dad dressed up to pass out candy. Then we were to have a Halloween/costume party. We do everything that you do for Halloween, bob for apples, eat disgusting food, not really, but you get the idea. We also carved pumpkins.

The six of us were at my house carving pumpkins early in the day as Mom and Dad got all the food ready. Ever carve a pumpkin? It's slimy and sticky, but so much fun.

Okay, so Cade, Julian, and I threw the guts at each other. Everly, Andi, and Elias laughed at us.

"Some things never change," Dad chuckled.

"That's because they're boys and all boys are gross," mom told him as she rolled her eyes.

"Um, thanks," Dad said.

"Sorry, Antonio, but you're a boy, so that makes you automatically gross," she said to him. Dad gave up. He couldn't argue with Mom even if he wanted to.

It's a good thing; I would take a shower. I'm pretty sure Cade got guts in my hair. We got our pumpkins carved, and my parents looked.

"Nice," Dad said.

Yeah, we got creative with it.

After we finished, we cleaned up because Mom refused. She said no way was she touching that gross stuff. Dad said this was normal.

After we finished cleaning up, I went to take a shower. Everyone left to change.

After cleaning up and finding pumpkin seeds in my hair, thanks to Cade, I got dressed. We were all dressing like our favorite characters. Plus, Mom said nothing scary. She didn't like scary costumes.

I came downstairs and saw a light blink. I walked over to see Everly standing there.

Yep, we dressed as Peter Pan and Wendy. Dad took a picture of us.

Next, we saw Cade walk up with Andi on his back.

I laughed.

"Fairly Odd Parents? Really?" I signed.

"Hey, they're cool," he said as he set Andi down.

Then two people walked up. I didn't know what they were.

Then we go a closer look to see it was Julian and Elias. Cade and I were rolling.

Dad came out, "Christ."

Mom came out and looked at them. "What are you two supposed to be?"

"We're wacky inflatable tube people," Julian said.

"I don't get it," She shrugged and walked back inside. Cade and I were still laughing.

"At least I'm not wearing tights," Julian smirked.

It's better than dressing like tubes. We all went inside. More people started arriving, and they were all dressed in costumes.

As everyone enjoyed themselves and we did Halloween things, every time someone came to the door, Mom and Dad would hand out candy until they ran out.

It was a lot of fun. That was the thing about holidays growing up; my parents always got into them. When I would go trick or treating, they would dress up with me.

That's what I loved about growing up; They always funned things for the holidays.

Once they finished with the candy, they turned off the light and joined the party. It was fun until everyone eventually left.

I went upstairs and changed out of my costume and into sweats and a tee shirt. I came downstairs and walked into the kitchen. I saw Dad cleaning up and helped him.

"So, you and Everly make a cute couple," he signed to me.

"I like her a lot, but we're not there yet. One day," I sign as I smiled. He chuckled as we worked together, cleaning up.

Julian

We left Enzo's house shortly after my parents did. Elias took me home. He pulled up in front of my house. We got out and walked up to the house as I carried my costume in my hand.

When we reached my front door, I turned to him, "Thanks for coming with me."

"No problem," he said as he took a step closer to me. I felt nervous as he got close to me, but it was a good nervous. He looked into my eyes, and I stood there.

Then he leaned in, and I closed my eyes as he gently captured my lips with his. He placed his hand on my cheek as he kissed me. I reached up and put my hands on his arms as I kissed him back. My heart was beating so fast, but that kiss was something special.

He pulled back and looked at me. "I wanted to kiss you."

"I'm glad you did," I whispered to him.

He smiled, and so did I. He leaned back in and kissed me again. As we stood there kissing on my porch, my parents saw us and smiled.

Dad looked at Mom. "I think he will fine."

"I hope so," she said as he wrapped his arm around her. She leaned her head into him as he kissed the top of her head.

For once, I received a kiss that meant something, and it came from someone honest. If only it had been like this before, then I would have understood what everyone said. Now I do.

Cade

I walked Andi to her front door as my dads had taught me. Once we reached her front door, she turned to me, "I had a lot of fun tonight."

"I do too, and all it took was for me leaping faith," I smiled as she smiled back at me.

I leaned in and kissed her this time. Now it was my turn to take the lead. I just needed a push. And her name was Andi. It's funny as much as I tried to avoid it, I couldn't. There was something about Andi that made me feel happy. I don't know if it was because she was crazy or forward, but I like her a lot.

After saying goodnight, I went home only met by my dads, oh, yay.

"So, did you take her home?" Cole asked me.

"Yep," I said.

"Did you walk her to the door as we taught you?" Wade asked.

"Yep," I answered.

"Did you kiss her?" Cole asked.

"Yep," I replied.

"Did you declare your love for her?" Wade asked.

"Wait. What?"

"Just making sure you were hearing us," he chuckled.

"You both are weird, and I'm going to bed. Night," I said as I went up to my room. I liked that they asked even if I seemed annoyed by the questions. It's nice to know that they care about me.
