Things are about to get crazy

Cade

I was hanging out with Andi for the evening. Her parents left for the night with her little brother, and Elias was over at Julian's.

We ended up making out until things got crazy, and I stood up. Andi stood up and looked at me.

"Cade? You okay?"

"Well, uh, um I," I fumbled my words, trying to figure out what to say.

She walked over to me. "It's okay, you know."

I looked at her. "What is?"

"You being a virgin," Andi answered.

"I'm not sure how this makes me feel better," I said to her.

She stood in front of me and wrapped her arms around me. "I think it's adorable."

"You do?" I arched an eyebrow.

"Yep, I do," she said as she leaned in and kissed me. That's where things got crazy.

Ever see those movies where the guy lifts the girl and carries her to bed, then they fall into bed and make love? Yeah, that only happens in the film.

That is how this went down. I got pushed onto the bed; my clothes practically tore off. Andi quickly removed hers, and the next thing I knew, she was placing protection on me and positioning herself onto me. Not sure if this is how this is. Let's say afterward; I laid there with a massive smile on my face.

She laughed, and I just laid there with a smile.

After my exciting evening with Andi, I went home and tried to act casual. The last thing I need is for my dads to find out I got my cherry popped. Why may you ask? Well, let me explain something to you.

When I was nine, and they had the "talk," Wade brought out the books and diagrams. He felt I should understand the fundamentals and that sex is a big deal.

Cole baked a cake, which was chocolate. He told me sex was like chocolate cake, which was fun, surprising, and delicious. I can't eat chocolate cake to this day.

I walked in, and Blake and Brooklyn were already in bed. My dads cuddled up on the couch, watching a movie. I tried to sneak past them only to get stopped. Well, shit.

So much for that plan.

They rushed over to me and looked me over.

"What?" I looked at them weirdly.

"Babe, I believe our little boy is no longer a little boy," Wade said to Cole.

"I believe you're right," Cole said to Wade, oh no.

"Sit. Let's talk," Wade said as they led me to the couch. They sat on each side of me then I got slammed with questions. Starting with Wade, "Were you safe?"

"Did you like it?" Cole asked.

"Did you treat her like she was special?" Wade asked.

"Was it fun?" Cole asked.

"Were you careful with her?" Wade asked.

"How many times did you go?" Cole asked.

Wade and I looked at Cole.

"What? If I remember correctly, we went twice when it first happened with us," Cole said to Wade.

"Ew gross, no kid wants to hear about their parent's sex life. I know I don't," I said, contorting my face.

"Sex is a very natural and fun thing to do. Just like chocolate cake." Cole shrugged.

"And that's why I can't eat chocolate cake," I sighed.

"Cade, we want to make sure you're okay. Sex is a big deal," Wade advised me.

"Okay, first, I know. Second, I know. Third, I know," I said with a look.

"So, what's the problem? You look like your going to hurl," Cole said to me.

I got up and started pacing.

"It's just that I'm not sure what to think. You ever have to decide on a candy bar. Then you have it and realize that you're not sure how you feel? That's how I feel. Although it was fun, it was scary, too," I told them.

They looked at each other than at me.

"Cade, that means you don't treat sex like its nothing. To you, it means more," Wade reasoned.

"When it's with the right person, it so much more," Cole advised as he looked at Dad.

I looked at them both. That was the thing. What if it wasn't? My dads were in love with each other. Andi and I hadn't even said we loved each other. Great, now I was even more worried.

It would be a long night.

The next day, I saw Andi. Although I'm not sure what would happen, my guess is she would treat it like it was no big deal.

I knocked on her door, and she answered it.

"Hey," she said.

I decided to just beat her to it.

"Look, I want you to know that you don't have to worry. I will not be clingy because we had sex. I mean, it's no big deal. So, yeah, that's about it, I'm just going to go now," I said as I walked away, leaving Andi confused.

I didn't want her to think it meant more to me because it did. Although I'm pretty sure it's a one-time thing. I mean, Andi is a take-charge person, and she didn't even run after me to yell at me or tackle me. That confirms that it was no big deal except to me, FML.

After I got home, I stayed in my room. Here I lost my virginity and feeling confused while Andi went along about her business. Now I see how Julian felt about sex before. It sucks.

"Cade! Can you come down here?" Cole yelled. Oh god, please let it not be because he wants to bake me a cake.

I walked downstairs and stopped dead in my tracks, well, shit.

Cole looked at me, and Andi glared at me. Yeah, she didn't look happy.

She walked over to me. "It's no big deal? You don't want to be clingy?"

I stared at her wide-eyed.

"I don't just have sex to have sex. I had sex with one other guy, and I thought I was in love with him. It turns out he was an asshole. Then I have sex with someone I thought loved me only told that he didn't think it was a big deal. No offense, but sex is a big deal, and I only take that step with someone I love," she snapped.

"You love me?" I looked at her, surprised.

"Wait. What?" Andi asked.

"You love me," I said excitedly.

"Out of all that, that's what you pick out?" She looked at me, confused.

"Well, it means more when you love someone, right?" I asked her.

"Well, yeah, but that's not the point." She rolled her eyes, but I didn't care. I closed the gap between us and pulled her into a kiss. She smacked me, but I didn't care. She loved me.

I let go of her, "Good because I didn't want to tell you I love you then told I confused sex and love. I'm already confused as it is."

"You're a doof," she said as she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, but this doof loves you," I grinned.

She laughed as she shook her head.

"Now that we established you two are by far the most confusing and lovable couple there is, let's have cake," Cole said as he walked past us.

We looked at him.

"Cake?" She asked.

"Yeah, I wouldn't ask. It's a Cole thing," I sighed as she giggled. I took her hand and led her into the kitchen where we had cake. Cole likes his cake.
