I had just entered my room. The words I heard from the castle's servants repeating in my head.
"That phony's chosen queen has my deepest sympathies." "I wonder how long it will be before he hypnotizes her into being his queen."
That last part greatly offended me. I can understand that the castle's servants are anything but willing to serve me; the fact that they think I would hypnotize the love of my life, I thought as I winced. It's almost too much to bear.
Get a good night's sleep, Darkness said. Tomorrow is a brand new day and things will be better in the morning.
I moved onto the balcony connected to my room. Up in the night sky, there were thousands of bright and shiny stars, one even streaked across the sky.
I sighed. Knowing that wishes and/or wishing would do no good, I turned away from the scene and went to bed. I didn't go to sleep right away. Instead, I closed my eyes and replayed the song I first heard her sing from my memory.
That was how my dream began. Gardevoir singing in that crystal clearing.
