As Halloween Goes By

As Halloween goes by
we see kids in fright starting to cry
The witches just setting off to do their annual fly
Pumpkins getting carved ready for the windows
The children still scared walking around in fright

As Halloween goes by
People scared of what they used to be
Monsters under beds ready to feast
People dressing up ready for the dead
People not believing what has been said

As Halloween goes by
Kids walk to door in suspence
Is it gonna be chocolate or sweeties?
No one knows what they are in for
A nice surprise that they have in store

As Halloween goes by
The dead remembered in one short night
The scary thing is they're out of sight
We want them back what ever they maybe
A touch of darkness and a trick or treat
