Accept Me

Do you know who I am? 
I'm me 
If you have a problem with that 
Leave me

I can be who I want 
I don't need you to tell me 
I can do what I want 
Maybe you'll just realise who I am

The things you tell me don't matter 
I am me 
Not you 
I just want you to let me be me

Accept me 
Take me for who I am 
I do that with everyone 
It seems to be different with me

Maybe I should take who I am 
Then you'll accept me 
But I don't like that 
I just want to be accepted for who I am

You make me think I'm bad every second 
You say that I don't deserve you 
The truth is 
You don't deserve me

Just let me be me 
Accept me for who I am 
If you've got a problem 
Leave me
