The Game

We just put it in for a nice return 
It’s just a gamble but both think it’s worth it 
We just try our best to get what we want 
Its Just a game that we can either win or lose

It’s a fifty fifty chance they say 
We know what to do it’s just about luck 
We just watch it as we lay 
Just to be chosen to come out

Don’t leave to early because you’re missing a trick 
The more you try the easier it will be 
As we just sit here waiting for the chance 
The chance to move and feel free

The joys of seeing you play is unbelievable 
The chance to be free become more reasonable 
I hate getting my hopes up, we know it will never happen 
There’s always a chance to get what we want

Is it possible for this to happen? 
I’ve been here for so long but it’s just not working 
We just have to try and then it will pay off 
When I’m out I will give someone joy
