Rain Pitter-pattering on my hood
Making me think, of the tears that I cried with you;
In joy
And sadness
It only takes a matter of time,
For what once to be what never happened.
It kills me,
I hope it kills you
I remember sitting down in this exact spot
What was supposed to be cheery was not
I cried for days after that,
I hope you felt the same
Yet I still fear for you,
Still wishing you were here.
Don't tell me what you once said
I will never fall for you again
You actual savage,
You left me sat there.
With a pit in my heart
And a well in my eyes
It's been three years,
Yet my tears still keep falling.
For you my darling,
I won't wake you in the morning
Just a time warp sits between us
We used to go back now and again but we weren't mature.
Leave me alone and I'll leave you,
Just let the time fade into the grey (That was one blue)
