I met this girl today,
She was so casual, so neat
But it felt a little awkward
To come round and prepare to meet
Her kindness and acceptance was such a treat,
To get away from everyone and realisation.
It just felt right, just you and me
Hiding from everyone to get away
From awkwardness and destruction
Of a friendship just made and could have mean
Loss. Loss straight away, a loss like usual.
Loss caused by people that usually cause them to retreat.
I met this girl today,

But now it feels right to be
Together.
