I Talk Too Much

quick NRftW, Parallels, and Forgotten Demons rambling

Okay so um

I'm probably not gonna have a FD chapter tomorrow

I started it but I'm not done yet, and it's Monday so I'm tired af

Plus I had a weird weekend, which made it difficult to focus

And it didn't help that when I finally sat down to write, I started doing...a different story.

And I continued writing for most of the day.

And now I'm done with that one so im posting it in a few minutes

That story is No Rest for the Wicked, an Aiden-centered AU about the aftermath of episode 5

It's inspired by the song at top (with some other Vocaloid influence as well haha)

I was originally gonna just put it in my Short Stories book, but for some reason i decided i wanted it to be a separate thing soooooo yea

The current cover is beyond shitty but i'll make a better one tonight

And i've also been putting a lot of thought into a new story idea, called Parallels! I feel like i might've mentioned it here but i'm not sure so uuhhhh yeah

It's MCSM, it's about a lotta different timelines and the people who fuck them up, it's complicated af, i'm having fun with it

it was inspired by a wild theory comment from Becca, and i totally stole the idea nd i'm going insane :DD

But i need help with a decision 

Should I ship Lukas with Aiden or Petra

I can't decide because they both work well story-wise??? and either way Lukas's significant other isn't going to be important, but i need shipness nonetheless

Lukden pros: they're fricking cute, it's different from like EVERYTHING ELSE in the MCSM fandom, and having them together in this timeline adds more contrast to the others (bc different things happen to Aiden in each timeline)

Lukden cons: i will definitely want to make Aiden a main character (which is a bad idea bc reasons) , and as cute as it is it's kinda obscure?? and i don't really like the automatic judgement i sometimes get from shipping them

Luktra pros: fits easily with canon (it's set after s2 so there's a lotta angst), creates a slight rift between Lukas and Jess (which i need)

Luktra cons: it may play out a bit too much like what i'm gonna do in Reflected Ruin and these stories aren't canon with each other, i also low-key feel like i've been doing just boatloads of this ship and i ought to try something different

Sooooooo I don't know

But I don't really need to worry about it yet?? rn i've just been messing with the different timelines of Parallels, and i need to get those sorted out before I can go too in-depth with details

anyway
