More of me trying to burn Allurance

Okay so in s7 episode 10 (Heart of the Lion), when Allura thanked Lance for backing her and Veronica was just like 'ooh she's pretty' at Lance?

He did not react normally? To any of that?? At all???

First he was just simply "No problem." and then the "I don't know what you're talking about!" to Veronica?

He's never really denied his feelings for Allura to anyone else (other than the princess herself). He kinda accepted Punk's teasing of him, he flat-out asked Hunk if he thought Allura liked him back...so why the denial now?

Maybe it was just because it was coming from his sister? Or because he dOESN'T QUITE FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT HER ANYMORE??

He did blush about it but it was really quick and more of an embarrassed-to-be-being-shipped blush than anything else

And it was immediately followed by an honestly kinda sad expression

*sighs* And yes, I know, there was that other scene later in the episode

I'm not sure if I can debunk that one :/

But again, he looked slightly sad afterwards, and tried to deny everything again

But but again again, that could just be because he doesn't feel like his sister needs to know about his crush

Honestly I think I care less about Klance happening than Allurance NOT happening

I love Allura, and I ADORE Lance, but they're just not right for each other, and I would be extrordinarily disappointed if they ended up together in the end of the series. I ship Klance a lot and am really hoping it's the endgame ship, but I would be okay if it didn't happen so long as Allurance also did not happen

Sigh.

Only time will tell I suppose

BUT

EVEN LATER IN THAT EPISODE

When Lance and Veronica crashed, and the other Paladins were calling out to him, DID YOU HEAR HOW STRSSED KEITH SOUNDED??

"Lance, are you there?" (princess rebound)

"Lance, where are you, buddy?" (sunshine child)

"Lance, can you hear us?" (pidgeon)

"Lance? LANCE, COME IN!!" (gay)

And then in the next episode, when the paladins were all in prison

Keith called out for Lance first...then Hunk and Pidge and Allura (but with a noticable gap between the first two names)

I know that hardly significant, but hEY

Just for the heck of it, I'm going to repeat what I said earlier about how Lance didn't try to flirt with Romelle even ONCE

*coughs* excuse me Lance, but I think your bisexual side is showing?

And tbh I am STILL fangirling over the whole 'He's the future' thing, with Lance's affectionate expression?? gorram
