The first couple episodes kinda reminded me of RWBY in a way I can't quite explain??? Yeah idk

And I was expecting it to be kinda like RWBY in the way that it starts off as goofy chaos and then spirals into darkness and insanity bUT NOPE EPISODE 4 IS THE GAULRA TAKING OVER AND THE CASTLE FALLING UNDER THEIR CONTROL AND WOW OKAY IT DID NOT WAIT TO START THE BAD THINGS NOPE HAHA THIS IS FINE

Oh gosh I wanna talk about what I think of the characters but I'm not sure where to start

And I KNEW Pidge was a girl! I was so confused at the beginning when someone referred to her as 'he'

'wait...wait what?? But I thought...what???'

And then at the end of episode whatever-it-was when Shiro called her Katy, I literally jumped up and yelled 'I KNEW IT!!'

But wait do the rest of the paladins know she's a girl?? Because at some point Coran referred to her as female and no one reacted but if she did tell them, how come there wasn't a canon scene about that???

EDIT: so it turns out I somehow missed episode 8 of season one...

Also Pidge is great
She's so much shorter than the others lol
I know that feel ahahaha

I loved how in the first couple episodes of season 2-
Keith and Shiro were getting attacked by weird little lizard aliens
Allura and Coran were stuck in a time loop
Lance and Hunk were getting hypnotized by freaky merms
And Pidge just...makes friends with some cute little furry things and builds a satellite xD

My opinion on Lance is a little weird because
Okay let's be honest here he's not a very likeable character

He's arrogant and kind of an asshole and a complete diva, and he doesn't really listen to anyone

I was freaking out when the explosion went off (was that episode 4 or 5??), and he was unconscious, even though I knew he wasn't gonna die, but I was still kind of panicking

First of all his expression like DOESN'T CHANGE and it's KIND OF HILARIOUS

(Which is even more hilarious because then there's usually Lance right next to him with his overexaggerated cartoon expressions, I love it)
