13. The Auditions

Yash: tum dono ko akele chhodke jau? Pagal hai kya?

Kriti: Hum akele nahi hai bhaii.. Khushi keh rahi thi Karan ko bhi kuch kaam hai to wo rukne wala hai.. hum chale jaayenge uske saath.. don't worry!! Chachu ko mana tu.. aur please jaise plan kiya hai waise hi karna.. kuch gadbad mat kar dena warna aur naraaz ho jayenge..

Yash: okk.. chalta hu phir..

Kriti: all the bestt tujhe bhi..
(They laugh and he left for home and Kriti goes for auditions)

(In Dance rehearsal hall, Ruchita (Chhipkali) is there with other team members. Shiv comes to the hall)

Shiv: Ahaan audition ke liye registeration ki list ban gayi?

Ahaan: haa.. 32 students hai!

Shiv: ok then.. let's start the auditions!

Ahaan: ok..

Shiv: accha mujhe list dikhana jara..

Ahaan: haa.. ye lo!

Shiv: Preeti di se baat hui? Kitni der lagegi unhe?

Ahaan: bass aati hi hongi..

Ruchita: Shiv.. kya fayda ye list vagare dekhne ka? Waise bhi tumhari steps inme se to koi match kar nahi paayega.. lead ke liye group mein se hi selection karna padega aur audition se jo bhi aayega hame replace karega..

Shiv: Itne jaldi conclude karne ki koi jaroorat nahi hai.. auditions ke baad decide kar lenge..

(A lady enters the hall)

Lady: Shiv.. all set?

Shiv: Preeti Dii.. yess all set! Auditions shuru kare?

Preeti: ya of course.. Ahaan aur tum aadhe aadhe participants baant lo aur unme se short list karo.. phir saath mein unme se selection karenge..

Shiv: okk di..

Ahaan: ok then... let's start!

(They start the auditions. Meanwhile, Janvi with the help of few other students was setting benches for auditions in music room. Karan comes to the room)

Karan: Jannu... ho gayi saari tayari? Shweta didi aati hi hongi.. unke aate hi auditions shuru karni hai..

Janvi: Haa.. participants ki list mil gayi hai.. didi ke aate hi auditions bhi shuru kar denge..

Karan: Greatt.. accha list to dikha participants ki..

Janvi: List? Wo to maine xerox dene ke liye di hai..

Karan: Ok.. accha mai abhi aata hu tab tak tu handle kar le sab kuch..

Janvi: Haa baba.. don't worry.. ja tu..

(In the rehearsal hall, Shiv and Ahaan shortlist participants. Khushi is shortlisted too. They give the list of shortlisted participants to Preeti di)

Preeti: Greatt.. 5 shortlisted participants hai.. inme 2nd round conduct karte hai

Shiv: Sure..
(All 4 participants dance, only Khushi is left)

Preeti: In sab mein to mujhe Rewa hi best lagi.. what do you think?

Shiv: Haa di.. Rewa dance to kaafi impressive karti hai.. lekin as Prabhu Deva says.. dance to express not to impress..

Preeti: ha lekin ab "dance to express" types ladki dhoondhne kaha jaaye?

Shiv: Kahi jaane ki jaroorat nahi hai... aap agli dancer ko to bulayiye..
