Chapter 34

Indigo's POV

We arrived at exactly 6 AM here at the KC Hillcrest Hotel and Golf Club in Batangas. Yes, out-of-town kami ngayon. Good thing there were some restos already open kanina pagdaan namin ng Tagaytay, so we took a stopover for our breakfast. Si Clarity naman kasi, she won't stop munching those goddamn chips, it was annoying kaya! I didn't have to force her to eat dahil gutom nga siya. All in all, she had one, hearty meal kaya naman she was all smiles after. And when she's like that, I can't help myself. She oozes with natural charm that I feel like in order for me to gain peace within myself, I have to respond naturally too. And how do I accomplish that? Easy. I kiss her anytime I want. Indigo for the fucking win!

"Uy Topak, uy, uy. Nakangiti ka diyan mag-isa."

Hearing my girlfriend's voice, though I think it was meant to tease or peeve me, I finally gave her my attention. I kind of ignored her kanina pa, paano ba naman, I don't know how she did it, but she's binging on another bag of chips! I don't even remember putting those junk in our bags, but here she is beside me with one and clearly enjoying it.

"Is it me you're thinking of?" Then she laughed and I just had to roll my eyes at her. 

"Will you get rid of that?" I looked pointedly at the bag of chips in her hands.

"Pero kakabukas ko lang nito..." As if that reason will work with me! 

"Clarity, you can either dispose that, get it out of my sight, or I will." At one point, I saw conflict in her face on what to do. But then she sighs, looks around, and then walked towards the entrance doors. Inabot niya doon sa naka-duty na guard 'yung pagkain. For sure nanghinayang siya, but when she came back and stood in front of me, she made a valiant effort not to show any hint of it.

"Okay na Topak ha? 'Wag ka na magalit. Tutuparin natin ang isang pangarap mo ngayong araw, kaya dapat happy at good vibes lang tayo."

How does she do it? Words don't seem enough right now that I acted on instinct. I trapped her in a hug and that took her by surprise.

"Indie?" narinig kong tawag niya.

Hindi muna ako sumagot. Funny thing is, I don't think I will ever get tired of being this close to her. But even if I wanted to stay longer, I had to make the choice of separating myself, and I did it with ease today only because I know I'd be rewarded after. Staring at her face now gives me a whole and different kind of high. Way to get addicted Indigo.

"Wrong Clarity, I'm actually overjoyed. Ikaw ang kasama ko in fulfilling this dream, so thank you from the bottom of my forever, gorgeous heart." I can tell that her smile was born out of amusement. "What? Admit it, I made you kilig kaya."

"Grabe ka talaga Indie! Oo na, oo na!"

"Good Babylove." I pecked her lips when she least expected it, perfect timing again. Nanlaki ang mga mata niya and her cheeks were turning a lovely shade of pink, of course. My gosh, mas gusto ko siyang panggigilan 'pag ganito! But I wasn't able to act on it dahil may umistorbo sa'min.

"Excuse me po, Miss Indigo Delabuella."

It was this tall man in white long sleeves, maybe part of the hotel's security, he looks like one anyway. I assumed that those at the reception desk who entertained us earlier told him who I was. Nakilala kasi agad nila ako. Well, who wouldn't? I immediately informed them though that we were there to meet with our contact tour guide and won't be staying. As for how the famous Filipino hospitality goes, they invited us to wait in the lobby, which I appreciated.

"Yes, what is it?"

"Your tour guide, Mang Ruben, is here. He's there outside."

I want to laugh at him, but that would be rude, he's only doing his job. I think people like him assumed I don't speak or understand Tagalog, that's why they resort to using English. I should stun him.
