My plane finally landed. I was in LA. I was one of the last people off of the plane. The heat was immediate. It was never this warm in November back in Illinois. I looked around for my childhood bestfriend, Liza. We reconnected about a year ago, and she finally convinced me to move to LA. I finally spotted her looking around in excitement.
"LIZA!" I yelled attracting a lot of attention.
She looked at me and he smile widened. I ran towards her and we embraced each other in a hug.
"I missed you so much!" Liza said as we hugged.
"I can't believe this!" I said as we stopped hugging.
"Years later and we finally get to see each other again!" I said not being able to stop smiling.
"I almost feel like a fan girl" I laughed.
"Honestly, me too." Liza said.
I tilted my head in confusion.
"I've been binge watching your vlogs for a while now." She said laughing.
I joined in laughing.
"Why? They suck!" I said in slight embarrassment.
"Not true! I even showed them to David and he said that he would vlog with you. He says you've got 'mad skills'" She said using air quotes.
We both laughed.
"We should probably get going." Liza said.
We both started walking to the parking lot when she said something that shocked me.
"The vlog squad wants to meet you."
I stopped dead on my tracks.
"When I look like this!?" I said looking down at my Clickbait hoodie and sweatpants.
"We could stop by my house and you can get fixed up." She said.
"Thank God, I'll take that option." I said walking again.
We made it to her car and we started towards her house.
