Chapter 30: Blowing in the Wind

~David's POV~

"Auntie! David!" A sweet voice squeaked.

I slowly opened my eyes and turned my head to see Ellie standing in front of me. Everyone was awake, but Y/N was still fast asleep.

"David," Ellie whined.

"Can you wake Auntie up?" She pleaded.

"Yeah," I grumbled removing my arm from behind my head.

"No problem" I said rubbing my eyes.

I sat up, but held Y/N tight so she was sitting up with me. Once I was sitting straight up she wrapped her arms around my neck and burrowed into the crook of my neck with a light sigh.

"Zane?" I whispered looking at him. Even though I knew I would feel bad, it would be something we can laugh at later.

He knew exactly what I was talking about. He jumped up and walked over to the pool table. He grabbed the air horn and started to walk over to me.

"My camera" I reminded him.

He mouthed the word 'Oh' before turning around and grabbing my camera. He walked over to me and handed me the air horn. I gripped it comfortably in my hand, and I turned to everyone.

"I would cover your ears." I laughed.

They all covered their ears, including Ellie. I nodded to Zane to start recording. He gave me a thumbs up once he did. I turned back to Y/N and pressed the button on top of the air horn as I cringed from guilt. The squealing sound filled the room. Y/N woke up quickly and fell backwards onto the couch almost hitting Todd's feet. She covered her eyes as we all laughed. I laid next to her.

"I hate you all" She grumbled.

We all laughed even more. She uncovered her eyes and looked at me in anger.

"You the most" She growled.

I gave her a pouty lip ad puppy eyes, which I know she can't resist. She finally cracked and smiled.

"Dammit. You got me." She mumbled.

"Morning" I smiled.

"Morning" She repeated.

I kissed her forehead.

"I'm sorry" I said keeping my lips on her forehead.

"It's okay" She sighed.

I removed my lips from her forehead. We sat up, and she smiled at me before tuning to Ellie.

"Oh, hi sweetie." She said running her fingers through her hair and brushing it aside.

"What are you doing down here?" Y/N asked.

"Waking you guys up!" She said jumping up and down.

"Daddy and Uncle Robert told me to!" She said pointing at the stairs.

"Of course they did." Y/N said leaning her head on my shoulder.

"And I want to play with you guys!" She said still extremely excited.

"I wanted to come down here and play with you guys last night, but Mommy said I had to go to bed." She sighed as she crossed her arms.

I grabbed Y/N's hand. She looked at me and we both smiled. We turned back to Ellie.

"What do you want to do?" I asked her.

"Um, I want to go to the park!" She said excitedly.

She climbed onto the couch right next to me.
