Chapter 48: David's Surprise

We were cuddling on the couch watching (Insert whatever movie you want) when David reminded me that he had a surprise. We had both showered to wash off all of the whipped cream and it was about nine o'clock.

"I'll be right back" David told me.

I turned to him.

"Where you goin'?" I asked.

"You remember how I told you that I might have a surprise for you?" He asked.

I was confused for second because of how he worded it, but I then understood.

"Yes" I responded.

"Okay, next step is for you to put a blindfold on." He grinned.

I rolled my eyes but smiled as I did it. "FINE!" I sighed dramatically.

He smiled at me. "Thank you, I'll be right back." He told me before planting a kiss on my forehead.

He removed his arm from around me and walked away to where a assumed was our bedroom.

"NATALIE!" He yelled making me chuckle to myself.

They both came back. David held a bandanna in one hand and his camera in the other. He blindfolded me first and then I could hear him talking to Natalie before he spoke to me directly again.

"Stick your hands out"

I cautiously stuck my hands out. I felt him placed what felt like a piece of paper in my hands.

"Okay, keep your eyes closed." He said as Natalie took the bandanna off of me. "Now open"

I opened my eyes to see an envelope in my hands.

"Go ahead and open it" He beamed holding his camera and recording me.

I slowly opened the envelope to see a folded up piece of paper inside.

"You know you could've just given me the paper right?" I asked him.

"Just open it" He laughed.

I opened it to see something I wasn't expecting.

PACK YOUR BAGS WE'RE GOING TO
~HAWAII~

I looked up at him. "You better not be fucking lying" I told him.

"I'm not lying" He grinned.

"Who's going?" I asked.

"Me and you for a month" He answered.

I covered my mouth as tears welled up in my eyes. I looked back down at the paper and read it over and over again. I looked back up at him as tears began to cascade down my cheeks.

"I swear, you're lying" I cried.

"When have I ever lied to you?" He asked as he began to cry as well.

"Thank you so much" I cried before we both stood up.

We hugged and kissed for a few minutes before David spoke.

"Happy anniversary." He paused. "And many more to come"

Sorry this is a short chapter, but I'm saving a lot for the last chapter. Yes, the last chapter. Chapter 49 (A.K.A the next chapter) will be the last chapter of Just One Kiss. Don't freak out! There is a guaranteed sequel that will be released not long after the last chapter of Just One Kiss is released. So make sure you watch out for that because I will be getting to work on that very soon. And depending on how the sequel does will decide if there is a third book and so on. (Which I hope you guys want because I love writing these) Anyways,
