~David's POV~
I woke up first. I checked my phone to see that it was only 7AM. I slowly got up without waking Y/N up. I tiptoed past everyone and up the stairs. I walked into the garage and walked to the fridge. I opened it and grabbed a Red Bull.
"Who's that?" I heard Y/N's Dad ask from the other side of the cars.
"David" I answered as I cracked open the Red Bull.
"Great, can you come over here real quick?" He asked.
I took swig of my drink before answering. "No problem" I said walking around the cars.
He sat on a stool by a huge yellow tool box.
"Whatcha need?" I asked leaning against the garage door.
He slowly stood up and walked to me.
"I just wanted to tell you," He started. "I understand that you're dating my daughter and all, but I just want you to know if you're bribing her with money, stop. That's not who she is and I won't let you make her that way." He snarled.
I was taken off guard. I thought he liked me.
"N-no sir. I would never." I defended.
"See, you say so, yet, I don't believe you one bit." He went on. "Also, that whole "Daddy" thing, I didn't find it very funny." He said using air quotes.
"I-it was an honest mistake" I stuttered.
"I-I don't care" He mocked me. "I just want to let you know, you're in my house. Not your 2 million dollar one. That means, you aren't getting anything from my daughter while you're here." He growled. "And you know exactly what I mean."
"And hell yes I'm excited to have another grandchild, but you haven't even been dating for a year yet!" He said getting louder. "And if you think you can just take advantage of my daughter, then you're severely mistaken." He said pointing at me. "And I hope you never become my son-in-law. Because I would be ashamed to have a stuck-up douche like you as a son." He went on.
I didn't know what to say, so I just said the first thing I thought of.
"I'm sorry" I said.
"YOU BETTER BE!" He yelled shoving my right shoulder back causing it to smash into the garage door.
My shoulder was throbbing, but I ignored it. I was too in shock to be fazed by it. He turned around and sat back on the stool. I turned and walked back inside without one word. Right as I closed the door behind me the pain in my shoulder hit. It felt like he straight up shot it. I rubbed it with my free hand as I walked to the basement again. Everyone was looking at me extremely concerned.
"What?" I asked casually.
"Was my Dad yelling at you?" Y/N asked.
"Yeah, but, i-it's no big deal." I said continuing to rub my throbbing shoulder.
"I fucking knew he wouldn't be able to accept this!" Y/N yelled in frustration.
