Everything changed after that one kiss...
~COMPLETED~
*CRINGE WARNING*
I find this story extremely cringeworthy. As I did write this when I was 11; therefore I had no clue what I was doing. Anyways, have fun!
We slowly stopped spinning. We just stared at each other for a moment before we both leaned forward and kissed. He brushed his soft lips on my forehead before placing a kiss just there. We leaned our foreheads against each other's. I licked my lips before speaking.
"Let's take a walk." I suggested. We both leaned back. "I can show you around the town." I smiled.
"I'd like that" David smiled. He slowly and carefully set me down, making sure I didn't fall.
After I was securely on two feet, our fingers intertwined and we started to walk.
It was extremely peaceful. The sounds of our feet crunching the snow filled the air. Our steps in perfect coordination. Left, right, left, right. As we held hands, we swung them back and forth with the wind. Forward and back, forward and back. David pulled out his camera and recorded the moment for an obvious winter montage. He spun me perfectly around in a circle with one hand and recorded it on his camera in the other hand. Snow slowly drifted down to the ground. Getting stuck in out hair and on our clothes on the way. I momentarily let go of David's hand to tie my flannel around my waist. I grabbed his hand again. He turned to me. He slowly smiled, but in a different way than normal. Like he was in awe.
~David's POV~
Her cheeks were a light shade of pink from the coldness and her smile just amazed me. I didn't think she could get any more irresistible, but once she tied her flannel around her waist, it got even better. She grabbed my hand again and I turned to her. She noticed and looked right back at me. I couldn't help but smile.
"What?" She asked me.
"I'm sorry it's just," I paused.
"You look so beautiful" I smiled.
She blushed and looked at our feet. I took two of my fingers and placed them under her chin. I slowly tilted her head up, forcing her eyes to mine.
"And I mean it" I smiled. She smiled back at me which finally broke me.
I pulled her closer and placed her lips on mine. Her peppermint chap stick melted onto my lips as her vanilla scent swirled around me along with the cold air. I held her closer to me. I pulled back, but she pulled me right back in.
'Shit' I thought. 'I could kiss her all day long'
We both pulled back and held hands again. We walked past some trees. She let go of my hand and stopped walking. A walked a few more steps before stopping. She twirled in a circle, deeply inhaled, and wrapped her arms around herself.
"As much as I love L.A., I missed this." She said as her breath fogged up. She stretched her arms out again.
I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture as quick as possible.
