~David's POV~

Everyone looked at Y/N in terror. No one knew where Ellie was. I looked at Y/N again. She started to stumble. I shot forward and held her up. Her face was extremely white. I picked her up bridal style. I looked at her as she hyperventilated. I turned to everyone else.

"What are you doing?!" I yelled.

"GO FUCKING LOOK FOR HER!" I shouted at them.

They all quickly scattered. I looked back down at Y/N. She was mumbling something that was incomprehensible. I looked around and saw a blue bench underneath of a tree. I carried Y/N over to it and laid her down on the bench. I knew it couldn't be that comfortable, but it's probably better than just standing up or laying on the rocks. I squatted down to Y/N's eye level. I removed her hat, and I put my hand on her forehead. She turned to me slightly. She slowly blinked.

"Ellie..." She said under her breath.

"It's okay,"

"They're looking for her." I reassured her.

She slowly blinked again before grabbing my hand off of her forehead. She weakly gripped my hand. I placed my other hand on the other side of her hand. I pulled our hands forward and kissed the little part of her knuckle that wasn't covered up. I looked around. No one was around. They we all looking for Ellie. And I knew they would find her.

Sooner than later.

~Scotty's POV~

Todd and I immediately headed towards the creek behind the shelter. Any kid would go for their own little adventure in the woods or down by the creek. We both ran to the bridge that went over the creek. Todd looked over on side and I looked over the other.

"ELLIE!" Todd yelled.

"ELLIE! COME OUT!" I yelled.

I scanned up and down the bank of the creek. Nothing. I turned back around to see Todd already starting towards the woods. I ran after him. We walked through a few trees before reaching what looked like a path. I followed behind Todd as he walked along it. We reached the end of the path. It lead to a dirt slope down to the creek.

"ELLIE!" Todd yelled again.

No answer. He started to run again. He sprinted across the water. Water splashed all over him and some on me.

"Todd! Wait!" I yelled after him.

I ran across the water after him. I ran up to him and grabbed his arm stopping him. He turned to me and ripped his arm out of my grip.

"What!?" He exclaimed.

"Will you slow down?!" I yelled.
