Chapter 40: A New Chapter

"You know I live here too right?" I asked Scott as I stared at the freshly wrapped house.

"Yeah, but I still went with it" Scott laughed.

"I'm not cleaning one bit of this up you know" I smiled.

"That's what you think" He said back.

I looked back at him with a fake angry expression on my face.

"I will kick that crutch out of your hand" I threatened crossing my arms.

"I dare you" He taunted.

"Let's go Mr. Sadass" I smirked. (Shameless plug)

"Oh shit, you weren't kidding" He said as his face dropped.

"Nope" I grinned. "Now, I'm gonna give you ten seconds to hobble away" I said tilting my hip slightly.

"Well, jokes on you, your boyfriend's here" He chuckled.

"I'll get you later Sire" I said running to the backyard.

I ran through the back door and joined everyone else. I ran into our bedroom and grabbed my camera before running back into the main room and squishing through the crowd to the front. I turned my head to see Ilya and Alex. (New Alex by the way)

"Hey Ilya" I said a little out of breath. "Hey Alex"

They turned to me and smiled.

"Hey, Y/N!" They said in unison before hugging me.

The sound of tearing paper sounded in front of us. We stopped hugging and looked back forward. David opened the door and everyone cheered. Ilya, Alex, Reggie, and John shot confetti at him. Everyone hugged David as he vlogged. Of course, we hugged and kissed.

"Congrats on 10 mil baby" I said after we kissed.

"Thank you babe" He said wrapping his arms around my waist. "You're next right?" He asked.

"Mmmm, I doubt that" I laughed.

We all walked to the backyard where Casey, Zane, and Heath shot out of a box with fire surrounding them as Casey held David's diamond play button. Everyone cheers turned into laughter as the box fell backwards and all three of them panicked. They eventually got out of the box safely and Casey gave David his play button. David held it over his head and everyone cheered.

Mostly everyone left except Ilya, Alex, and Zane. Plus David, Natalie, and me. We were all telling jokes and stories and laughing. David even flipped a coin to decide if Ilya would stay in extra day. One being heads, meaning he had to stay one more day, and one being tails, meaning he didn't have to delay his flight any farther. Zane started recording his outro so everyone went quiet.

We all sat on the couch laughing when I felt my phone vibrate. I flipped it over to see my Mom calling. I turned to David, who I as sitting right next to.

"I should probably take this" I told him.

He nodded and kissed my cheek. "Okay" He whispered into my cheek.

I stood up and walked into the kitchen and picked up the phone.

"Hey, Mom. How's it going?" I asked happy as ever.

I could hear her crying through the phone. I immediately got worried.

"Mom, what's wrong?" I asked.

I heard David stand up. I looked up to see him walking over to me.

"Mom, what's going on?" I asked getting even more concerned.
