“Curse or Cure”

For a heart filled with fears
Don’t want to listen, covering the ears
For a heart controlled by anger
Hating everyone, disagrees about forever.

Treating love as a curse
Once you fall, you’ll get hurt
Don’t want to fall first
Unpleasant words might blurt.

For a heart that is broken
But wants it to mend
For a heart that is torn
This will be the last time you’ll mourn.

Love, for you, is the cure
Once again, you’ll heart will be pure
Door is open, willing to let someone enter
Is the start of the word “forever”.

Love may come in unexpected times
It may be a curse or a cure, they say
Once the time comes
Will you let it leave or stay?
