Chapter 21 - Forgiveness

Panaginip lang pala ito, that's why I don't think it's both of them. I sighed in defeat, tumayo ako at nag-inat. We had so much fun yesterday night at nalasing ako sa iilang case lang ng butterbeer kahit mababa lang ang alcohol content.

What did I expect? It's my first time to drink alcohol. I can't remember anything that happened after that pero naaalala ko yung panaginip ko.

The facial features of that man is blurry. Did I kissed him in my dream? Wait, I did kissed him. I'm so confused with my feelings, I'm starting to fall in love with Athan pero kapag malapit ako sa bampirang iyon ay bumibilis din ang tibok ng puso ko. I should hate him, right? What now Lori?

"Mrow" sagot ni Emi sa'kin.
"Good morning baby!" Binuhat ko ito at pinanggigilan pero hindi naman siya nagreklamo.
"Nasaan ang mga kuting?" I asked him but he just purred.

Binaba ko na muna siya para hanapin ang dalawa at nakita ko sila sa banyo na naglalaro sa litter box. Agad ko silang inalis doon dahil nga dito sila nag-aalis ng kanilang dumi.

"It's time for bath time!" Pinaliguan ko silang tatlo and groomed them.
"Kain na tayo!" Tinawag ko sila sa kusina para pakainin sila. I sat down sa isang stool sa kusina and ate my breakfast.

I received a messaged from Athan, kinuha ko naman ang phone ko. 'Good morning sleepyhead. Do you remember what happened last night?' What happened last night? Ano nga ba?

'What happened?' I replied to his message.
'I'll call you' reply naman niya. Nag-ring agad ang phone ko kaya sinagot ko naman.

"Don't you remember last night?" He asked.
"Well, obviously no. I just remember getting drunk with a few case of butterbeer that has a very low alcohol content" sagot ko sa kaniya.

"You really don't remember what you said last night!" Athan exclaimed. I'm so curious, ano nga ba ang nasabi ko kagabi?

"What the heck did I say?" Nakakunot na ang noo ko.
"It's a secret" he giggled on the other side of the phone.
"Who's that you're talking to?" Narinig kong tanong ng isang babae sa kaniya sa kabilang dulo ng linya.

"Who's that?" Tanong ko rin sa kaniya.
"Ebony 'wag kang maingay may kausap ako" pagbabawal niya. So it's his sister? I giggled and thought that it's so cute.

"What?" He asked.
"Nothing!" I continued to laugh.
"Is that ate Eclipse?" Tanong ulit ni Ebony kay Athan.
"Yes! Uh... no! I-It's Lori" why would he answer yes? Tinawanan ko ulit siya dahil nalilito na siya kung sino ang kakausapin niya sa'ming dalawa.

"Is that so? Can I talk to her?" Request ni Ebony samantalang ako, tinatawanan ko pa rin silang dalawa.
"What are you laughing at? And Ebony, no!" Humagalpak na ako dahil rinig ko na ang inis sa boses niya.

"Nothing! It just sound so adorable" reply ko sa tanong niya.
"Please kuya!" Parang batang pagmamakaawa ni Ebony.
"Adorable? Ugh sige na nga! Parehas kayong dalawa!" Singhal ni Athan at binigay niya kay Ebony ang phone.

"Hi ate Eclipse!" Bati ni Ebony sa'kin.
"She's not Eclipse! She's Lori!" Pagpapaalala niya kay Ebony.
"No! She's big sister Eclipse! She's your wife!" Pagmamatigas ni Ebony. Natatawa talaga ako sa dalawang magkapatid na 'to.

"Oh kuya stormed out of the room" sabi ni Ebony. She's so adorable when she talks!
"So, how are you ate Eclipse?" She asked. Well, I'm just going to play with it, kawawa naman siya baka mapahiya.

"Oh dear Ebony, I'm fine" I replied.
"I'm so glad you're fine ate. Did kuya gave you the dress I made?" She asked.
"The Victorian styled dress? Yes, it's so beautiful!" Hindi naman ako nagsisinungaling dahil maganda naman talaga ito at matibay ang pagkakatahi.
