THE incident inside the mall did have an impact to Lucian but didn't change him at all. He already found his happiness back but the seriousness in his system still remained. Subsob pa din ito sa pag-aaral na pati holidays ay isinakripisyo na niya.

Ang buong pamilya at luluwas sa home town ng kanilang ama para ipagdiwang doon ang pasko at bagong taon nila gaya ng nakasayan taon-taon. But Lucian decided to stay.

Three days before Christmas ay may practice kasi ito para sa performance nilang Dance team para sa show ng Arts and Design sa February. Mas maaga, mas prepared. Hindi niya magagawa 'yon kung nasa ibang bansa siya kaya mas pinili niyang magpaiwan na lang.

Kaya naman nag-away sila ng kaniyang ama dahil sa hindi pagsang-ayon nito. Lahat silang mag-anak ay nasa sala para kausapin si Lucian pero si Luther na lang talaga ang hindi sumusuko. Sino ba namang ama ang papayag na hindi makasama ang isa sa mga anak sa isang napakaimportanteng pagdiriwang?

His Mom can't oppose. Wala itong magagawa dahil hindi niya pa nako-control si Lucian ni minsan dahil sa katigasan ng ulo niya. Wohoho, lalo na si Luris. Masisigawan lang siya ni Lucian.

Logan just sat quietly beside his mother while Luris' head was lying in his lap. They're watching the two exchange words because they can't do anything.

Luther was always calm and patient to Lucian. But he will use his authority as father over his son in situations like this.

Logan can do something because his father often listens to him. But not at this rate. He can't just pull a stunt like, 'father-Lucian-will-be-not-alone-because-I'll-be-staying-too'. That's just too dumb for a heroic kuya action. Mas lalong iinit ang ulo ng kanilang ama kapag nagkataon.

Lucian sighed in frustration as he exchanged gazes with his father, "But that school stuff was just too important!" he said and he's raising his voice unconsciously.

"Walang hindi importanteng bagay sa'yo kung sa pag-aaral ang pinag-uusapan, Lucian. But can't you just give it a pass for this time? I've been longing for occasions like this, to be honest. Para magkasama-sama tayong lahat kahit iilang weeks lang. I hope you'll understand me, son." Luther pleaded.

Lucian sighed heavily, "Dad, as much as Kuya Logan wanted to stay for Ate Iuhence too..." Logan suddenly looked at him not because his name was mentioned. Because of the fact that Lucian caught him off guard about his contingency plan, "...he can't because that's not a valid reason, really. He sacrificed his happiness for our family's sake so please, understand why I am doing this."

That's Logan cue to butt in, "Oo nga naman, Dad. Pagbigyan n'yo na lang si Lucian. School is so essential to him to the point na halos pakasalan na niya yung TNHS sa sobrang pagmamahal niya dito." Lucian glared at him for that joke. But he smirked afterwards because he was caught in his bait.

He asked for an indirect help by mentioning Iuhence's name and sacrificing happiness para kumilos ito at pakiusapan ang kaniyang ama.

Even though Luris noticed his Kuya Lucian's trick in his sleeves, she just shrugged and jumped in his side, "Why don't you just come up with an agreement para fair and square?" she asked that's why Lucian snapped.

"I'll depart to England before the New Year's Eve. Doon na ako babawi. Sounds good?" he asked with a triumphant smile. He's certain that his Dad will agree. Thanks to Logan's damned joke, Luris hint and Iuhence's name as a magic word.
