(( Really sorry for the long wait it took me a really long time to write this and then edit it, Lance's family is like the hardest thing to write ever without the whole thing sounding like dirty laundry. Shoutout goes to BTS and Jolt for helping me finally finish this chapter. Hope you enjoy!" 

LANCE'S POV: 

"Mama i'm homeee!!!!" Lance says as we make our way through the small olive colored door, the smell of thanksgiving immediately filling my nose. 'damn I missed actual food'. Spanish music filled the air the tune soft and sweet, reminded me of Keith. 

"UNCLE LANCE! UNCLE LANCE!" Scream Bianca and Blaire as we walk through the door, Keith immediately tightens his grip on my hand and back behind me. 

"Oh yeah I forgot about my brother Leo, these are his kids." I whisper to Keith as he looks at me in disbelief.

"Oh yeah it's so hard to remember like 4 family members Lance!" Keith says hitting me in the back of the head.

"hey, Ow!" I say pretending it hurt. Bianca and Blaire wrap their arms securely around my legs with the intention of not letting go, as the rest of the family makes it's way toward the front door to see what all the commotion is.

"Lance! Hey how have you been? How's school? Are the classes hard?....... Who's this?" Mama says moving her head to stare at the terrified boy behind me. 

"Ah Mama one question at a time.. and this," I move out of the way of Keith and spread my arms to show him off, "Is mi novio , mama." I smile brightly as Keith nervously looks around the room picking his hand up and waving very slowly.

"You finally brought home a boy! Thank heavens, I was starting to think you were hopeless." She said moving toward Keith and engulfing him into a hug. 

"Uh.. Mama I think your scaring him....... Mama? MAMA!" I say trying to get her off of Keith who looked like he was about to pass the fuck out. Once she got off of him he started catching his breath. I wrap one of my arms around his shoulder and look around at my family.

"Shall we eat?" I say showing off my signature grin.

"Only if you get Ronnie, i'm scared of her these days, last time I tried to get her she almost bit my hand off no joke!" Leo says moving out of the way so I could get to the stairs.

I sigh, "Fineeeeee but if I die it's your fault Leo, Common Keith you're gonna love Ronnie she's great..... Sometimes." I mumbled the last part as I dragged my boyfriend up the stairs stopping at the last room on the left and opening the door without knocking. 

"Come on little emo, it's time for dinner, and we have 2 special guests, yours truly and mi novio!" I say as Ronnie shoots me a look that could kill. she doesn't say anything but gets up, puts her earbuds in and shuffles down the stairs right past us. 

"well that went better then I expected." I chuckle ushering Keith out of the hallway and back downstairs and into the dinning room. 

There were various plates and utensils sprawled out on the table and many different food spread out perfectly in the middle. My stomach growled just looking at it, Then I remembered the last thing I ate was a granola bar this morning. 'damn that was a bad idea'. people start to come into the dinning room breaking the silence that once was. I look around the room as everyone takes their seats, and sit myself putting Keith beside me. 

We start eating, multiple conversations were going on at the same time. I was involved in some while Keith was being hammered by every family member with a bunch of questions. But the one that surprised me came from my papa. 

"So Keith, What makes you think you can be here?" Papa says placing his fork down on the table. All the other talking stops and everyone is now looking at papa including me. Keith on the other hand looks scared. He had finally started settling in and my Papa had to go and do this. He wasn't really buddy buddy with the whole LGBTQ thing but put up with me and that was the only acception. Now there were two of us. In his house.
