(( One more full chapter after this and then the Epilogue.... Im going to miss these little guys... Heres a treat for ya'll :)  This is also payback for making all my valentines chapters depressing. I feel like I owed you this.))

KEITH'S POV: 

One more day and this would all be over. Everything that he has been through is going to be determined by how much he can make it through today.This is the end game. The final draw. Life or death. 

He needs to fight. 

He needs to be strong. 

He needs to win.

PIDGE'S POV: 

"So where were you thinking we could go? I went and saw lance yesterday, and plus I don't think Keith is going to want to leave." I chuckle moving one pieces of hair out of my face as me and Hunk walk down the sidewalk. 

"I was thinking a Movie? They came out with another super hero movie and I know you love those." He says shyly, looking to the side and playing wit his fingers. I reach my hand out and grab his intertwining our fingers together. 

"Of course. I would love to go see a movie. Especially a super hero one! I mean come on they are so freaking cool! Did you know they are actually working on superhuman at the Garrison?! Like seriously I could. be one of them and you wouldn't even know." I narrow my eyes at him and make a tough looking face before he bursts out into laughter and I do the same. 

Why couldn't it always be like this?

ALLURA'S POV:

"Come on Ally, Let's go out, we haven't gone on a date in like 3 days." Romelle says hanging off half of the bed. Her gorgeous locks touched the floor and covered parts of her face and she still looked beautiful.  

I chuckle moving closer to the girl, leaning down and placing a loving kiss on her lips. 

"How could I say no? You're just too cute." I hum moving back to the closet and deciding on a yellow sun dress. This was Texas after all. And it's hot as hell out today. I wasn't going to take any chances. 

"Yay! Maybe we can go to the beach!!" Romelle says excitedly leaping off of the bed and joining my in the closet, throwing on a bathing suit and then a light blue romper. I freeze for a moment taking in everything about her. 

I can't believe I almost lost this. 

The ride to the beach wasn't awful, traffic as usual, but Romelle always made it her duty to make the car rides more fun. Wether it was singing Taylor swift at the top of our lungs or recalling embarrassing and funny stories, she was always a great asset to a long car ride. 

As we park I start to feel the sun on my skin, It's warm and comforting. Something I'm used to by now with my caramel skin. Romee on the other hand burns like these no tomorrow. 

"Hey Rom remember that one time we forgot to bring sunscreen and you turned like 4 shades of red everywhere?" I snort picking up the last of our items and throwing them over my shoulder as we make our way onto the sand, deciding a spot to sit and placing all of our stuff down. 

" What I don't understand is how it managed to burn me even through my bathing suit! I can never win!" She throws her hand up in the air and then plans down on the blanket. I sit next to her placing my head on her shoulder.

I look out to the ocean, the dark blue waves making my heart feel whole. The smell of the fresh tide was enough to make my energy rise, and with the days being shorter, we would only have an hour or two until the sun would be setting again. I get up off the blanket and throw my dress over my head pulling Romelle with me.
