LANCE'S POV:

"Once we start we can't stop. This treatment can kill you Lance, but it can also help you. Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Lotor asks, checking the last of the supplies to make sure everything is there. I look around at my family and friends, nervous looks on all of their faces. but I can't worry about them. I'm going to die anyway.

"I'm sure." I say giving Lotor a nod to start the treatment. 

"Alright I need everyone out of the bubble, we need to keep Lance isolated for his treatment. This will take 6 days time, and only two people will be allowed in per day, after being properly sanitized. If anything goes wrong you all will be the first to know, but Lance must spend this first day alone to make sure the antibodies start to work. Any questions?" he says summing up his routine speech and looking around the room. No one says anything, so he takes this as his time to give the family a little space, closing the door behind him. 

Ronnie scoots up to the bed and throws her arms around me. "stay alive for us okay. I don't know what I would do without a knuckle head of a brother like you." she whispers rustling my hair  little bit. 

"I'll try." Is all I can manage at this point. I already feel the need to cry.

after receiving some drawings from my younger siblings, it's my parents turn. They don't hug me and they don't say goodbye. But what they say makes my eyes fill with tears and my hands begin to shake.

'Mijo, we love you so very very much. We only want what's best for you, and nothing will ever change that. We want you to be strong and fight, But if you're in too much pain... or if you need to go we understand. you never have to feel ashamed that you couldn't hold on long enough, because we love you no matter what. And we know you tried your best. we will see you tomorrow okay my love? Be safe, we love you." She leans forward and places a kiss on my forehead staying in place for a moment longer before pulling away and ushering everyone out of the room. 

I look over to Keith, his eyes are wide and puffy. He runs over and falls onto my chest. The light movements of his back tells me he's crying. 

"Heyyyy shhhh it's okay... I'm going to be okay I promise. And it's just one night. You can visit me all you want tomorrow." I say trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. I pull his face out of my chest and pull it closer to mine, the feeling of warm lips against mine is almost like fireworks going off, like love, like everything. I swipe my thumb under his eyes to get rid of the falling tears. 

"We're going to be okay mi amore, I promise." I say once more pulling him close to my chest again ]. Feeling his chest rise and fall with my own in perfect harmony. 

A soft knock at the door tells me it's the for the treatment to start. that my time is over. that all of my time is almost over. I watch painfully as Keith peels himself from me, lingering his hand in mine, not letting go until he got far enough away to where they naturally fell.

"I love you." He sweetly says, looking at me with a huge smile on his face, 

"Forever and always." I reply taking in all of Keith before he's out of the room, and I'm alone. I can hear talking from outside the door and assume that he's probably killing Lotor with questions right about now. 

"You ready for your first day of treatment!" He says excitedly walking into the room. the burst of energy knocking me off of my feet. How the hell is he so happy when he just witnessed all of That ?  

"So as you know this is going to be a very hard 6 days but your body has fought through everything so far so there's no reason for it to give up on you now. I just insert this needle and plunge the antibodies into your system and it all starts. You sure your up for this because again, once we start we can't stop." He questions once more. My mind racing once more before I turn to him and say. 

"Hell. Fucking. Yeah."
