A few days later Grenade heard the crate open. He gasped a bit as he realized a Terran was the one taking him out. However when he looked around he realized that all of the other creatures were coming out too. They were walking down the long hallway and into a room that Grenade had never even known was there.

The Terran took him out and set him down on the ground before he nudged his haunch. Grenade turned and hissed before he forced himself forward. Somber darted forward and halted at Grenade's side. "Where are they taking us," he asked, his muscles rippling.

"I don't know," confessed Grenade as he kept his eyes forward, trying to study the crowd.

They both halted at Ashen's crate and waited until she was let out. She leaped from her crate and Whisper soon followed. Pallid dragged himself out and the group walked together.

"Does anyone know where we're going," asked Whisper as she looked around to the group.

They all shook their heads. Pallid dragged himself up to his friend's side. "I hope they're not killing us off all together."

Ashen shook her head. "I don't think so. If they were going to kill us they wouldn't kill us that way."

"Well I hope that they aren't going to hurt us," Somber pipped in as he lashed his tail. "We're been tortured enough."

"I don't think that's it either," argued Ashen as she sniffed the air, her fur bristling. "No that's not it."

"What do you smell that the rest of us don't," asked Grenade and she noticed that he was on edge the most out of all of them.

She continued to sniff the air and lashed her tail. "I don't know," she confessed as she saw that they were nearing the door. "But I think we're about to find out."

The door opened and Grenade extended his claws. "The Shower Room," he hissed as he lashed his tail. "They must have changed the room and that's why I didn't recognize it!"

"The Shower Room," echoed Somber but Pallid and Whisper knew what Grenade was talking about.

"Yeah every so often they take you in this room and water falls from the ceiling, like rain and that's how you can groom yourself," explained Whisper as she wrinkled her nose in disgust. "However some of us groom ourselves!"

"Yeah I'm not sure about this," confessed Somber but they really didn't have a choice.

They were forced into the room and Ashen realized that water was falling from the sides of the walls from the ceiling. It was a very large room and all of the creatures could groom themselves at the same time. Ashen had to admit she wasn't thrilled with the idea that all of the creatures could see her. She knew that they usually could but it was different and she knew she was going to feel uncomfortable.

"Let's all stay together," suggested Pallid as he kept dragging himself, growing a bit tired. "Some strange things happen here."

Ashen really didn't need to ask what. She kept forward and they walked toward the only corner that wasn't occupied. Ashen watched as Grenade reared on his hind legs and pressed a paw against the wall. Water came down from the ceiling and began to douse his pelt. He groaned and Ashen realized how much he must hate water.

Ashen copied his movement and touched her nose to the wall. Water sprayed down on her face and she leaped back but she was already drenched. She grumbled before she took a step forward and allowed the water to rain down her flank and she had to admit she felt actually pretty good. She didn't dare look down since she knew how much dirt was probably running from her flank.

She heard more water turn on beside her for Somber, Whisper, and Pallid. She kept her eyes forward since she really didn't need to see anything. She forced herself to rear on her hind legs as the water splashed on her underbelly. She then landed back down and inched forward as the water continued running on her shoulders and neck. At first it ached but then she relaxed and he actually felt good. She rumbled in enjoyment and heard Grenade hissing and swearing beside her.
