Mel's pov

"So where do you think she would go? She could be anywhere!" Travis leads the group around, we literally was walking streets, calling for Diane. We looked past every alley way we passed, Louis must've seen the constant worry on my face, it was hard to keep the tears from spilling, what if this girl went missing for real? Or worse raped and never seen again, and part of it would be my fault. "Melanie you okay?"

" I'm fine." I shortly answer, quickly wiping away tears.

 "Diane!"

"Maybe she went home?" Dominic asks, "There's no way she walked home that fast!" Louis answers, "And Diane wouldn't take a taxi, she's smarter than that" I add in, "What's wrong with a taxi?" Louis raises an eyebrow, "You would understand if you was a girl" I snap, hearing Travis' call in peril for our friend, we noticed the break in his voice, as we kept walking, approaching a fence beside us- empty hotel parking lot.

We stopped taking a break from a mass of walking, we was searching for 30 minutes already- streets, hills, steep hills, a few alleys, we even tried texting her and no answer. I looked over at Travis leaning against the fence tiredly, then slumping down forcefully to the ground. The moment his butt hit the sidewalk his fluffy brown curls bounced in motion as well. "Travis we'll find her" Dominic tries to comfort him. I dialed Diane's number and heard the dial tone,

"............... ........................ ............ ......... ............. 'Sorry, but the person you-'" I hung up, and called again, only receiving the same result. I called multiple times, looking at Travis, crouched, like someone crying their worries away in a dim dark corner, except Travis was crying-in Spanish.

(*tries not to add in a sarcastic joke*)

I have no idea what he's saying, "Todo es mi culpa. No quise que esto pasara!(Everything is my fault. I did not want this to happen!)" I never seen him cry before, but even guys cry too. They're human just like everyone else, and have emotions too. I think about the things she worn, "Travis," I bend down next to him, "Diane, can be like this sometimes, especially when she's emotionally unstable at some point. She can do things without realizing it.....wait did she take her medication?" I yell at the end in realization.

"Medication?" "She has an anxiety disorder, so she takes medication to help calm her nerves and prevent a possible anxiety attack!" I explain in slight hurry, "Wait, what if this whole time we've been calling her she never answered-she had an attack?" Louis asks, "Bruh" Dominic trails off.

Travis looked up and we all look at each other, Louis pulled out his phone and must've pulled up the hospital number. "Yeah I need to know if you guys have a patient we're looking for.........Moore....Diane?........" I looked at Dominic, "Will anyone see him?" I whisper, "Travis pull on your hoodie man." he pulls it over his head for him. We all waited for an answer, "You do?" Louis looks over at us, "235, 2nd floor? Alright thanks" he hangs up.
