Diane's pov
I sat in Speech, taking notes, knowing everyone was looking at me. I decided to dress up today, Travis wasn't in class today, is he here? A short-long beep interrupted the class, "Mr. Keith, can I see Diane Moore to the office please?" I stood up and quickly walked out. I really don't like being the center of attention, wait what am I being called for? Am I in trouble?! Oh boy... the fight! I took my time going to the office, I took my time going to the office, by the time I made it there, I was led to the principals office.
I walked in, seeing two chairs, one empty and the other, Tee. Help me. I mentally roll my eyes. "Go on and have a seat Diane." I closed the door and sat down, avoiding to look at Tee, I glanced at her. Her hair was shoulder length, and she had a bruise showing through the make up she had on. She gave me a death glare, I turned back to Dr. Sanchez.
"The reason I called you two was because of what happened at the game Friday. This behavior is not tolerated at my school and you both know that. Now, Diane, I expected higher expectations from you, I'm surprised you would do such thing"
"Its self defense"
"You literally was punching me on the ground, helpless!"Tee chirps in, under the makeup, you could still see the slight purple-red bruise underneath.
"Don't forget the part your friend Chad shoved me into a locker and your little friend Kathie."
"Are you serious? Now you're just making-"
"Girls!"
"DON'T GET ME STARTED! YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS OF ME BECAUSE THE PRINCIPAL'S SON DOESN'T HAVE ANY INTEREST IN A PLASTIC-FAKE LIKE YOU-"
"Diane Moore!" he hands slam on the desk, making both Tee and I flinch, "That is enough!..." he sits back in his chair, "Sorry, Dr. Sanchez."
"I have made a conclusion."
"Tekelya, you are recommended for expulsion from this school"
"WHAT?! I DID NOTHING TO HER! SHE'S JUST A LIAR! DIANE WANTS TRAVIS FOR HERSELF- AND WANTS TO HAVE HIM JUST BECAUSE HE'S POPULAR!"
"Dr. Sanchez, can I go now? I just came from the hospital-" we both stop seeing the glare from him. I shut my mouth, realizing I could put myself into more trouble than I already am.
"Tekeyla, leave. I already called your parents and they are notified of your behavior. I already talked to your 'friends' and they are punished as well." Tee looked at him, then me, "We aren't finished yet." she growls at me and ran off into a sob. Welp time to say goodbye to college. Goodbye to being an astronomer, goodbye to...my dreams.
"Diane Moore, I understand you are still upset about this, a person being bullied can only take so much. My son, Travis was like that in Middle school, not bragging but, he was a really popular kid there. But he kept to himself, he used to be like you. The athletes used to call him boring, cause he never did 'cool' things, plus he was a ladies man anyway. The point is, a guy from the football team bullied him physically. Travis stood up to him and gave the guy a broken nose and two black eyes, ever since that, he's the most open and friendliest person you'll know." Travis was an introvert before? No way!
