Diane's pov

After school yesterday, there was a call from my school about a threat. According to them a threat was found in four boys bathrooms and five girls bathrooms, which all had the same thing written about a threat to shoot the school. The area was investigated and no sign of a threat, something similar to a prank of some kind. But extra security will be there tomorrow and students will be checked.

No one couldn't leave class at all. We were all stuck in first period for two hours, which meant I had to spend two hours with my ex best friend. You may wonder why I never mentioned anything about her much since like the past 2848284736 chapters? Maybe because I'm through with her. Done. Finito. Slayed. (rawr)

The only thing from the past month was a few glances. Of course I miss her but I need to move on. We didn't do anything in class and I simply looked at astronomy pages on my phone. My phone vibrated in my hand,

'One message from an unknown number' I looked at it,

Unknown
I shouldn't have done that. Something just took over me. I know you won't talk to me or anything but this is the only way possible for me to talk to you. I feel bad for how I treated you, no one deserves that, especially you Diane. I'm sorry....for everything. I miss how we would talk at the library and everything. I really miss us being friends. I know you definitely won't even look at me now. I'm sorry.

I looked at her, on the other side of the classroom, her face was gloomy as if a shadow was cast over her eyes.

"Diane can I see your hand? That ring is so beautiful!!" someone catches my attention.

"Uh Yeah sure" I showed a girl my hand as the ring sparkled in the light and the diamonds glittered. "Who gave this to you?!" she asks, "Is it from a Valentine?!"

"No Sally! That's the ring he gave her"

"Well it could be" I shrug my shoulders. "How would you know?" I ask her.

Sally took out her phone and scrolled as her thumbs danced across the screen. Then she showed me her screen, 'For my special Valentine💍💖' I rested my head on my desk "Ugghhh" "WAIT YOU TWO ARE DATING?!" someone else blurts out, catching the attention of others to me.

"I-"

"SHE FINALLY IS WITH SOMEONE!" someone sighs laughing.

Then a burst of 'Oh's' and laughter ensued, "HEY! Quiet down!!!" the teacher yells making us stop then continue in lower voices. I rested my head on my hand feeling the softness of my cheeks, at least I have face pillows.
