Diane's pov

"This is so STUPID! Why do you keep carrying me around!? Where are we going anyway?" I say, noticing we were in an area unfamiliar to me, "Don't we need keys to this door Travis- oh" Greg says, but then stops looking at the keys in Travis' hands.

"I'm pretty heavy you should let me down" I poke his cheek while he was focused on unlocking the door. As soon as the door opened, cold air blew in. I look around as we all went in, I could only spectate. Greg gives Mel his varsity jacket, he had on a Christmas sweater on anyway. I for one wasn't complaining, I had extra warmth to snuggle in -w- . Well not like that, like-body heat. Yes. Extra body heat. Nothing weird or mushy about that,..... especially if the person is my friend, nothing weird at all!

We made our way inside, I immediately recognize we're in the back of the library, just in a teachers lounge. White coated brick wall, table in the center, black sofas across from each other, a refrigerator and freezer in the corner, and a sink in the other corner. At least the heat is on in here, the sound of Travis' heart beating is really relaxing, what am I on today?

I shuffle a bit giving Travis a hint to put me down and he did. "I'll be at the desk." I say and walk off. I walk up to the front desk and sat in the spinny chair.

I just sat there looking around at the empty and dead silent library, the tall book shelfs, and walls filled with books, the empty tables and chairs, the large windows with the blue sky and white puffy clouds in the back, passing by; all while occasionally spinning around in the chair I was in, great now I miss Travis' warmth. Ugh, what am I thinking? Maybe I'm just not used to having a guy friend, it's just something I'll have to get used to now. I take out my phone and look at the time, 12:45 afternoon. It's still twelve?! I forgot some of the classes got cut short today anyway, which is why I had math earlier today.

Travis' pov

"I don't know, Val's been on my tail already about it." I say, "My mom would kill me if I were to go at a party like that" Mel laughs, "I'm going to it this Friday" Greg lays back and Mel scoots away from him suddenly. "Where's Diane, I know she's quiet but she's a bit too quiet." Mel gets up and peeps out then sits on the other side of me.

"I think you should check on her Travis" Mel gently nudges me with her elbow. "Why-"

"Don't ask!" she says.

I shrug and get up and went to the front desk carefully, only to find her asleep.....quietly sleeping to the side with her arms crossed. Something's telling me I just got setup. Again. And I'm sitting here staring at her again. What am I thinking? This isn't like me at all.
