Christmas break
Travis' pov
For Christmas break, I'm hosting a party- I did it every year since I was a freshman. It's mainly just students, from my old school, but I posted on my Insta anyone from Middleton can go too. I always have it at some huge house that I rent, we usually have everything locked upstairs and certain things put up, so we wouldn't have to worry about theft or any damage. We have the furniture moved and everything! I mean it has a big balcony too. The party is tonight, and Val doesn't like it when I party, because she knows what happens. Either I'm too high, too drunk, or completely passed out to do anything, I mean I was found in a pool one time last year-that's what Val said. She usually stays in the party as well, just to keep an eye on me and hang out with some of her friends. So if you hear angry fluent Spanish, that's her.

The door bell rang for the millionth time already just his hour, a lot of people came in and you could see the smoke from joints and cigarettes, I don't remember drinking. Or did I drink already? The last came in, and Diane was there. "Hi" she holds a hand up, "Hola pequena!!" I swooped her up and placed her down quickly, and closed the door. She had on a galaxy hoodie, black ripped jeans, and white converses, and a fluffy bun on each side of her head, space buns? "I only came here for you. "
"You don't want nothing to drink?" she raises a brow, "I don't drink! Or smoke for anything of that matter, my grandparents would skin me!"
"Nothing wrong with a taste?"
"No thanks" she rolls her eyes. "Where's your sis? Watching you most likely?"
"Yeah." "Well I would've done the same exact thing, it's illegal anyway"
"At least I didn't climb over the wall"
"Whatever. Where's the balcony?"
"Upstairs, left, very last door to the right. Unless you want me to hold your hand on the way"
"No thanks. I have a knife" she winks.

Diane's pov
I was chilling in a lawn chair that was on the balcony. I didn't like being here to be honest. Melanie, Louis or Dominic wasn't here either, so that made me more lonely. The moment I came in, I smelled weed, and cigar smoke, and maybe a tinge of some alcoholic drink, but it wasn't beer. I'm not gettin' high off of that- not even gonna smell it.
The air is much better out here, it's fresh, it's not as noisy, and much cooler, compared to the warmth inside- that wasn't actual heat. I'm gonna gag thinking about it. I thought a corner would help but nope not today! I had my purse with me, but luckily had my book downloaded on my phone.
