Originally this book didn't have Travis' side of his time spent on Christmas break. And I feel like I've neglected/ had no connection with Travis what so ever when I first wrote this book. But now as I re-write this book, I realize that not only Diane has some of my traits in her, but Travis as well. It's a bit complicated writing a boys pov when you're a girl. But hey I can get rough sometimes :3........um anyway- (;;^._.)
Travis' pov
Dad left the whole conversation on speaker for Val and I. It was our abuelo, my mom's mother. We haven't heard from her family all year....or last year, or the year before that. The thick accent was definitely prominent, "IT IS NOT HAPPENING! I TOLD YOU EVER SINCE THE WEDDING YOU'RE NOT STEPPING IN MI CASA ANYMORE! I don't care what day it is! I told you not to marry her, and I'm still disgusted by the fact that my precious daughter had the nerve to have offspring with you!" and she slams the phone and the call ended.
"Now you see why we don't go anywhere near your mother's family." he says, resting his elbow on the table, "I never really seen them, I don't know why they don't like us so much" Val says, crossing her legs in the sofa of our living room. I lean against the wall.
"You never really told us about them though dad." I tilt my head. He sighs and sits down beside Val tiredly, I ease my way to the sofa and sit on the other side of him.

Travianna-18
Fernando-20
It was night. Past midnight, and a cautious Travianna walked down the street-light-lit street. A man was resting on the corner of a brick building, which was a shop that closed down for the night.
She walked closer and closer to him, and eventually stopped, as he came into the light.
"Hola" he smirks. "Hola chico bonito" she pinches his cheek. (i'll type the thing in english, mah spanish is rusty lol) "Here" she takes a small purple sack out of her coat and shoves it into his hand. "What is this?" he asks while taking the mysterious object out of the sack, revealing it to be a really expensive ring.
The band was gold that had floral etchings in it, and had a decent sized cushion-shaped pink diamond in the center, with white diamonds surrounding it. "Travianna I told you no!" he says reluctantly. "Didn't you say you needed some cash?! Quit complaining! I couldn't get some of my own money cause it would...you know catch suspicion" she looks to the side.
"You want me to sell your ring?" he looks at her in question.
"You can get a lot of money for it, I mean it's a custom ring, I didn't really need it, you better sell it!" she says.
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!" Fernando puts the ring back in the sack and gave it back to Travianna, she takes it back in defeat. "I said I needed money but not from you." he looks at her. She rolls her eyes, "Fine, how about this? I'll go to the bank now and get you some money then. Then I can put it on your check and say it's a bonus. I mean you're really great as an assistant! Kinda gets boring of talking to that woman I told you about. We ended up becoming friends actually" the green eyed woman scratches the back of her neck nervously.
