my eyes travelled across the corridor as i waited impatiently for jungwoo to appear. fiddling with my fingers nervously, i shifted my weight onto my right leg as i leaned onto the smooth white wall.
where is he?
just thinking about jungwoo makes my heart go full speed. all i want to do right now is to give him a tight hug and congratulate him on finishing the MV, paper umbrella. i had no idea what it was about nor seen it yet but i was at least 101% sure that he did absolutely amazing.
if im wrong, he had to act with someone?
instantaneously, the sound of shuffling and murmurings travelled into my ears from a distance.
jungwoo
as if on cue, my bright eyes darted towards the origin of the sound, grinning from ear to ear as i slightly squinted to see the figure from the distance.
however, when my eyes finally got into focus mode, my smile instantly faded and my eyes seemed to darken a bit. the sight in front of me isn't really pleasant-looking.
an unknown woman was linking arms with jungwoo, as they were both completely immersed in their own conversation, filled with a whole lot of laughter.
my heart started to drop, realizing that they didn't even realise i was there.
standing there akwardly, i had no other choice but to observe the two up close as they continued walking nearer.
they look so cute :(
trying to act natural, i fished out my phone from my back pocket and pretended to scroll through my gallery - which was filled with cancerous selfies.
" ᵒʰ ʸ/ⁿᵎ ʸᵒᵘ'ʳᵉ ʰᵉʳᵉᵎ ¨̮ " jungwoo's soothing voice travelled into my ears.
" jungwoo! i..i didn't see you there! haha.. " i pretended to be surprised, punching his arm playfully ( but also very akwardly)
" karin, meet my best friend y/n! " jungwoo beamed, introducing me to his friend of his.
as his best friend and nothing more cuz :''))
the woman, who i immediately assumed was karin, bowed 90 degress instantly, giving me a warm smile.
" hi! im min karin, the one who acted with jungwoo in paper umbrella. nice to meet you! " karin smiled at me in a way so bright, i had no other choice but to smile back.
" nice to meet you too "
" y/n right? ohmygoshh you're soo pretty ! " karin praised me, the smile made her face crease and her eyes twinkle.

" well,,me and y/n will be making our move now. bye karin! " jungwoo waved goodbye to karin, walking to my side and putting an arm around my shoulder, making my cheeks flush slightly.
" okie dokie, see you soon jungwoo! " karin grinned, waving back before walking away.
as soon as she walked away, me and jungwoo started walking the opposite direction.
