A/N: Oh my gosh.... I was such a cringey writer in Jr. High. I've been writing this book for a year and a half now and... wow... I apologize to anyone who had to make it through those first twenty chapters.... ANYWAYYYSSSSS I got a request to do a part 2 for Under the Mask, so this one is for you girly!

"Stay safe, Peter"

That was the only sentence running through his head as he rescued people from the fire and unarmed the fighting men. She knew?

How did she know? There's no way she possibly could have found out!

Help showed up quickly, arresting the men and getting injured citizens to the hospital. Peter went and changed again, finding where his class had been hiding. He immediately found (Y/n) in the crowd, rushing to her through the commotion.

"What- how.. when.." Peter started all of his thoughts at once, "What?!"

"Peter," she rejoiced, hugging him in the process. He hugged back happily, a curious look on his face. Peter was a smart guy, he remembered how she mentioned the car accident. But his voice never gave him away. Well, at least not until now.

*Your POV*

"That's how I knew," I backed up with a smile.

"-what?" Peter questioned, not understanding me.

"The hug. You hugged me the same way you always have on that night. And by the time I had my suspicions, you're voice was more familiar. I just put two and two together."

There was an eerie chill to the night itself. Something bad was going to happen, I could feel it in my bones. I continued down my usual path to get home after work, brushing my hands up and down my covered arms for extra warmth. Snow fell from the sky, making my face numb. I still smiled, looking both ways before crossing the road. I stared at the white man on the light, letting my thoughts capture me. Today had been hectic, and I was ready to just get home and curl up on my couch with my fuzzy socks and a warm coffee waiting for-

A scream.

The screeching of wheels.

Another scream.

"Get out of the way!"

It all went too slow for me. I saw the yellow car sliding on the icy road. It wasn't slowing down and in the process it would take my life. I knew that. My legs wouldn't move, though. Everything sped back up as the taxi was now a mere two feet in front of me, still going around sixty miles per hour.

I screamed a blood curdling scream of terror once my voice found its way out, noticing that my feet were no longer touching the ground. Had I been thrown? I didn't feel any pain. Maybe this is how death works. I mean, I wouldn't know-

"Are you okay?!" a panicked, young voice came out from the person I know realized was holding me. He landed us on a nearby roof, hugging me tighter.

The same way my best friend would hug me. Hands around my waist, his head resting on my shoulder. It always gave me butterflies, and Spider Man was the same exact height. I mean, this was tighter than normal, but undoubtedly it was Peter. And his voice from before. It was high pitched- which Peter always had whenever he was scared or nervous. I found it adorable though- oh my gosh.

Peter is Spider Man.

"Um-" Spider Man deepened his voice, "Are you okay, Miss?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," I smiled, "Thank you."

"It's my job," he smiled through his mask, "Do you want me to take you home?"

"Yeah, yeah, thank you," I nodded, still shaking from the crash. I looked down below, noticing that the car had crashed into another- smoke coming from the engines, "Scratch that, go help them out. I can get home safely from here."

"Oh shoot," he put his hand against his forehead, "Okay, uh, yeah. See ya."

"Don't worry, I haven't told anyone. You know you can trust me, right?"

"Yeah, I know," he brushed a piece of my hair behind my ear, "(Y/n), I really like you. That night- if you had died. If I had been just a second too late. I don't know what I would have done with myself..."

"Woah, hey, but you did. You saved me, Pete. Your my hero," I smiled before realizing what he had said, "Wait.. you like me?"

"Yeah, like... more than friends," he looked away from me, pink rising on his cheeks.

"I like you too," I shrugged nervously, "I have for a while now."

His eyes widened with a smile as he leaned down to kiss me.

"May I?" he asked an inch or two away from me. I nodded and leaned forward. He placed his hands on my hips, pulling me closer to him. I smiled into it and within a few more seconds- to my disappointment- he let go with a smile.

"So are we official now?" Peter asked eagerly.

"Yeah.. I'd like that."
