"Uncle Clint, it's been a while," I laughed and hugged him.
"Hey, Little Robin," he joked and ruffled my hair, "Steve, why's she here? Kids shouldn't be in battles you know."
"Where else is she gonna go? She chose her dad," Steve explained. Adults are liars.
I know they wanted the best for me but... I sighed. I already miss Uncle Tony and Aunt Nat. I loved Steve and Dad and Uncle Clint and even Wanda and Sam, but I loved everyone else just as much. An alarm sounded in the airport we stood in and I knew there was no going back now.
"(Y/n), go with your dad, okay? I'll meet you in the jet," Steve spoke, making us all go our separate ways. I followed Dad and Sam to get a better view and find the plane we needed.
I couldn't hear what anyone was saying because my heart began pumping again as I watched everyone down on the ground break out. The adrenaline coursed through my veins and it took everything Wanda had taught me about controlling my powers to hold the energy there. The three of us began to run, knowing what was coming next. An unfamiliar suit landed on the window besides me, peaking my curiosity. He swung threw, shattering the glass and kicking Sam into a wall.
Dad threw a punch, only to be caught by the.. spider-boy?
"Woah, you have a metal arm?! That is awesome-" he was quickly cut off as Sam flew into him.
"You good?" I laughed at Dad's shocked face and he nodded with a small grin. We followed the other two Dad and I hid behind pillars, trying to throw him off with pieces of rubble.
"Hey, I think you lost this!" the high pitched voice shouted, throwing it back at my dad.
"Is that really how you treat senior citizens?" I joked, releasing the purple smoke from my palms. I formed it into a solid ball and threw it at him, knocking him from the pole he was sitting on.
"Woah that was.. wow you're pretty......." he lost his train of thought before continuing, "Hey! You're that girl who bumped into me a year ago! You like, ran into the street and melted it or whatever. Everyone at school talked about you for months!" he exclaimed while shooting down Sam with his webbing. He continued webbing down Dad and Sam.
"Are those wings cotton fiber?" he asked Sam quickly.
"Is this stuff just coming out of you?" Sam looked at the material now covering him. I focused on the power building up once again and made green mist float over to Spider Boy. He had just finished pinning both of them to the floor when the color reached his masks.
"Why does it smell like.. apples?" he spoke in a tired voice. He turned towards me. I raised my right arm and he raised his right arm. Body control. My favorite roll on the dice.
"What in the world.." the boy seemed utterly baffled.
"You're welcome," I laughed and made him stand on one foot.
"I didn't know you were still around," he sounded awe struck.
"Yeah, Steve is one of those over-protective dads, you know?" I explained, still having fun as I played with my puppet.
"Captain America is your dad?!" he fanboyed.
"Not technically, but he adopted me. Bucky is my biological dad. Long story," I spoke, making Spider Boy do the Macarena.
"Would you stop that!" he complained.
"Not until you apologize to my Dad and Uncle," I laughed and stepped almost nose to nose with him.
"Why should I?" his voice went a whole octave higher.
"'Cause if you don't, I'll make you take off your mask and I'll keep it as a souvenir," I threatened, enjoying myself more than I have in years.
"That's not fair, Mr. Stark just got this for me!" he whined again. It was kind of adorable though.
"Fine, but you have to at least tell me your name," I bargained, not wanting him to know my power was fading out.
"Ugh, it's Peter," he spoke, "Now will you let me go?"
"Whatever you say, Peter," I smiled and stepped backwards, making him fall off the edge of the second story. Then I let him go. He quickly shot a web up to swing onto the bar above me.
"Hey, after this battle thing, I think we could be really good friends," he spoke up.
I chuckled, "Can I at least see your face?"
"Yeah, but we could I mean like.. if you wan-," he stopped as I pulled off his mask. He had soft brown hair to compliment his honey eyes. He was the boy from the street.
The conversation gave me just enough time to pull out one more trick. I waved my hand, freezing him for a period of time.
"Hey, what did you do?" he tried to pry his arm from the webbing it was still connected to. I took out a sharpie I had in my pocket.. somehow.. and wrote my number on his arm.
"Thanks for everything!" I smiled and pecked him on the cheek, "See you later, Alligator!"

"We're still down here!" Sam shouted in annoyance.
*if it was ever confusing, the reader has like.. a jack of all trades power caused by adrenaline... hope you guys liked it. I felt the need to write something based of of civil war because I'm pissed that Thanos probably could've been stopped if Civil War never happened.... ugh stupid feelings...*
