Getting some answers

We got back to the mansion and mum was bouncing Freya who was screaming, I walked over to her and pulled her into my arms and smiled, "and what is wrong princess" I asked smiling as she quietened down staring at something, I turned to what she was staring at and noticed that it was Mattie who was looking at us, "wow she is tiny" he said and I smiled, "you were smaller" I said to him making him look confused and I laughed, "back then the medical was what it is today and well I was hide away being 16 and pregnant with you" I explained. Mum looked to me and I smiled, "back in the 1800's a teenager getting pregnant was not allowed and was looked down on the whole family, being that I was a Salvatore and the eldest one I was expected to be married into one of the founding families" I explained. Dad growled and I smiled, "it wasn't like that, do remember that today's society is a lot different to what it used to be like, hell when I was younger I wouldn't be able to speak to anyone of colour" I explained and mum smiled, "so what happened" she asked, "was locked away from the world, they believed that I was ill and needed to be inside all the time, there wasn't many maids around only the ones that were trusted and when Matthew was born I was told that I would have an hour with him but I didn't, I was told that he died" I said wiping my eyes.

Care sobbed and I smiled, "but I found Nik again and my son as well, so there is nothing to cry about care" I said to her and she looked to me, "I didn't think that it would have been that bad back then" she said and I smiled, "it had its up and downs but I had Damon until he went to war" I said to her and she nodded, "well I don't think that I would have liked being in that time period" she said and Nik laughed, "it was easier than any of the others" he said and I smiled, "I liked the 20's they were fun" I said. Nik smiled and I turned to my parents, "so there is a hunter in town trying to kill us" I said and dad looked to me, "the kind that we know" he asked and I shook my head, "no Nik explained that they are what they call the five" I said to him and dad paled. "dad" I said to him and he looked over to Nik, "are you sure" he asked and Nik nodded, "yeah, Jeremy Gilbert saw a tattoo on the guy which was completed and the fact that he has more strength than a human would tell me that he is a supernatural hunter" Nik explained.

Dad sighed and turned to me, "they were the ones that were trying to kill you as a baby, they found out you had magic and had the werewolf gene as well" dad said and Nik looked to him, "that is why you hide her" he asked and dad nodded, "they were going to kill you" he said to me and I growled, "ill rip his heart out" I snarled and dad walked over to me and smiled, "then you're have the curse that comes with killing one of the five, trust me when I tell you it isn't worth it. We need to get rid of him another way" he said to me and I nodded, "fine" I said and crossed my arms.

I turned to them and sighed, "I said that we would be nice to Elena and the others" I said to them and dad laughed, "this is going to go horribly wrong" he said to me and I smiled, "Mattie is helping with this which is why he is an adult again and then once this is over we can go from there" I explained and Matthew walked over to me and his father, "I don't want to be a child, I know that you love me and I think that it would be nice to be this now" he said and I nodded, "are you sure" I asked and he nodded, "plus you have the twins as well" he said and I sighed as I took his hands, "Mattie you know that they aren't going to take your place don't you" I asked and he looked to me, "you are our eldest and you will always be our little boy" I explained and he smiled, "thanks mama" he said to me and I smiled. "Come on we have a memorial to get ready for" I said to him.

I walked upstairs with the twins and Nik as Mattie said that he was going to wait for Lexi to come and got the twins dressed into a black and white dress for Freya and a little white shirt and black jeans for Henrik, I placed them down in the cots we had in our room and walked over to the wardrobe and had a look to see what I was going to wear, seeing that I had a black dress I pulled it on and walked over to the mirror and waved my hand so my hair went curly and quickly put some make up on, I walked out to see that Nik was dressed in a black suit and his hair was a curly mess which made me smile, "so Lexi came about 10 minutes ago and will be ready" he said to me. I nodded and leant down putting my feet into some heels and walked out with the twins.
