Confession (L x Reader)

•so I'm going to start off with fluff then I'll write a lot of angst•

I couldn't keep my eyes off her,
I had fallen for (y/n) for a while now.
But I can't say anything right? Yeah that would be unprofessional, of course what am I thinking.

"Hey Ryuzaki?" I hear (y/n) next to me

"Huh? Oh yeah?" I said looking at her

"I'm going to go get some coffee, you want some?" She said smiling

I want to be with you...

"Sure um and can you bring some sugar cubes on the sides please?" I say

"Of course" she smiled making me blush slightly

God why cant I get her out of my head.
She's a subordinate and I'm her boss I shouldn't be think like this.

We had went over to England to work on a case with some of my successors and it was just me and (Y/n) alone at the moment

"Here's your sugar cubes and coffee" (y/n) said setting down two cups causing me to snap out of my thoughts

"O-oh thanks.." I said slowly reaching out for the cup

"No problem" she smiled at me before getting back to work

So. Freaking. Cute.

I couldn't focus on my work I could only think about (y/n), she was just driving me insane

I just want to be with her but how can I if I can barely look at her in the eyes

•Time skip•
Soon everyone decide to take a lunch break so  they went out to lunch leaving me and (y/n) alone again

I just couldn't keep my eyes off her, I couldn't stop think about her, but I'm still her boss so I should stop right?

I got up and went to go to the kitchen to grab some cake

"Hey Ryuzaki" I heard (Y/n)'s voice behind me

"O-oh h-hey"
Stop stuttering damn it.

"So Ryuzaki I been meaning to ask..."

"Ask what?" I turned to face her starting to stuff my face with the strawberry cake

" have you ever...liked anyone.." she asked making me choking on my cake

"W-why would you ask that?" I say with my cheeks turning a bit red

"Awh you're blushing! I knew you liked someone!" She said cupping my face with her hands

"N-no I don't!" I said removing her hands

"Yes you do now who is or was it!" She said

My face got redder as I didn't know what to say

"Cmon Ryuzaki you can tell me anything" she smiled

I looked away "f-fine but you can't tell anyone." I said looking at her

"Of course now who is it"

"I-...I like you (Y/n) I kinda have for a while and...I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret." I said handing her the strawberry

I looked at her and her face was slightly red as she stared at the strawberry

I sighed and looked down "I'm sorry this is unprofessional-" I felt her grab the strawberry berry off the fork

"Don't worry I'll keep the secret but I have a secret and I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret.."she said

"W-what is it?" I ask before looking back at her

She pulled me by the collar of my shirt into a soft kiss that slowly eased into

"I like you too." She smiled at me before putting the strawberry between my lips
