Inviting Jin to our place was a bad idea. Yet, I did it. I wanted him to know my life better. That will give him enough reasons to run away.

Jungkook and Namjoon Hyung were both not very excited about having Jin over. We all have our insecurities and living in a shit hole like this was one of them. Namjoon Hyung got us some ramyeon and kimchi. I bought some fresh meat to fry. I wondered if they will be enough for all four of us.

It was not so long before Jin showed up at our doorsteps. He was quick. He also carried three bags. He got us some cooked, rice and carbonated beverages. I asked him not to get anything, yet he did. Why does he need to be this considerate all the time?

To all our surprise, Jin didn't seemed to be bothered by our small one room accommodation. He made himself feel home and started to have small conversations with Namjoon Hyung. Meanwhile Jungkook and I set up our eating space on the floor. Jin made some silly dad jokes and made hyung laugh. I haven't seen hyung laugh this way in months. The joke wasn't even that funny. Jin's dad jokes are really bad yet they give us a sense of relief. I guess Namjoon Hyung needed it.

Even though Jin hadn't shown any worry about our room or the food, I felt like everything was inadequate. I guess he saw my worried face.
"This is the best dinner in months" he said while having his ramyeon, reassuring us. We had already finished all the meat and rice.
"Thanks hyung" Namjoon Hyung replied.
It's funny how Jin is elder to Namjoon hyung and yet I don't feel he is old. I just want to cuddle up with him and call him 'baby'.

After almost three hours of playing cards that Jin brought, he decided to call it a night. It was around 11:30 in the night and I didn't want this night to end. I ended up walking Jin back to the end of the street. He came in his cycle which was very surprising. I never knew he had a cycle and he looked like a sweet jock next to it. His gray hoodie looked too cute on him.

"You guys are awesome" he said. I realised I was staring at him all the while while walking beside him.
"You are awesome" I didn't think much before speaking out loud.
"I am. I agree." he said with a giggle.
"Thanks for coming"
"You don't have to thank me for everything V."
"Tae."
"Huh?"
"It's Tae, Jin...Hyung"
I wanted to hear him call me my name. I am sure I am going to regret having these feelings for him and wanting to get closer to him. Yet, I was standing right next to him wanting to feel more.
"Tae." He said smiling to himself.
"Namjoon seems to be a great guy. He is too silent though. How does Kook deal with you two silent killers?" he asked while I was still in cloud nine hearing him call my name.
"We speak... just not unnecessarily."
"So Kook and I speak unnecessarily?" he pouted.
"No no.. Jin..hyung. I didn't mean like that."
"I was kidding. Chill." he said. "Also, you can call me Jin. No need to use Hyung if you don't want to. We are friends after all."
"Huuuhhmmm"
"It's Jin" He can't stop, can he?

I didn't want him to leave yet. I asked if we can sit and talk for some more time. He didn't hesitate. We went to the nearby convenient store and Jin bought us both a chocolate bar each.

"So how's work Tae?"
"It's Part Time. I am still looking for a permanent one."
He didn't respond for a minute or two.
"I have something to ask you and Kook. You may not like it though. Don't mistake me."
"What is it?"
"I am the incharge of a new project. I have to recruit few workers to do the major labour work like painting, transporting paints, other stuff and decorating etc. I can put yours and Jungkook names if you guys wanna work with me. If you prove your skills you will become regular without much trouble. I can assure you that."
He is truly a saviour. I wanted to ask him about the pay but I didn't know how greedy I will sound. I guess he understood my thoughts when he said "my firm actually pays well. First you will get daily wages. But in a week or two, we will look into your work progress and will allocate jobs and pay accordingly."
"Jin..I don't know what to say. Thank you so much."
"I would have asked for Namjoon too. But I guess he is happy in his current job. If not, let me know. I can put you three together at once."
"I will ask them and get back to you about it. I am sure Kook will be happy but I need to talk to Namjoon hyung." "Hey. Don't be too formal. Let me know tomorrow if possible."
"Sure."
This tall prince like man came into my life. Saved me from getting beaten up. Gave me food. Pulled me out of police station. Gave me support. Accepted me for who I am. Now, giving me an opportunity to work in his project. He sure is an angel. He has always been taking care of me. I know very less about him though. So
I had to ask him.
"So..how's life?"
"It's good. Lately, surprising but good."
"Your family?"
"They don't live here. My dad works for a German company. He couldn't live there alone by himself. So my mom moved there as well. I have an elder brother but he works in Singapore. So I don't really get to meet any of them if not for facetime calls. I met all my family together two years back during my parents anniversary."
The great thing about Jin is that I don't need to ask the right question. He just know how to respond even if the question is simple and blunt. So he is a kid from a supposedly rich family. All the more reasons why we wouldn't be a match anyday.
"That's nice." I replied.
"What about you?"
"I have no one." I said. I was expecting him to throw a pity look at me. But the prince gave me a little smile and slightly moved his hand to my thigh cupping it gently.
"Who were they?"
"Huh?"
"What did they do?"
"My parents used to work in construction. They died in an accident. My grandmother was taking care of me. She was too old then. So she passed away after couple years. Since then I lived on my own. Later, Kook came into my life. Now, Namjoon hyung and Kook are all I have."
"You have me too." he said looking straight into my eyes.
I just looked down. I didn't know what to do. Do I say Yes? or say nothing.
"Oh Tae!! You are a piece of work aren't you? You and Yoongi could make me go bald with your freezed responses." he said in a funny ahjusshi tone. I couldn't help but smile. He is too cute.
