Bill Williamson x Reader - Fort Mercer

Hi everyone! This oneshot is going to be a bit different from the rest.

~Plot-Line:
This oneshot will take place in Red Dead Redemption 1. The very beginning of the game when John Marston goes to Fort Mercer to confront Bill Williamson and ends up getting shot by him. The reader will be with John Marston as they journey up to Fort Mercer to confront Bill Williamson, it had been several years since the reader and Bill have seen each other. As John and Bill are arguing, Bill takes a shot and ends up shooting the reader. Things will get a bit crazy since Bill will still have feelings for the reader after all these years of them being apart.

~Relationship Status: The reader and Bill were lovers but because of Bill's choice to side with Micah, the reader decided to leave him.

I looked over Flat Iron Lake as the ferry boat made it's way over to Blackwater's docks. The murky water splashed around and into the boats sides, the sunny sun shining down onto the water which made it look like it was sparkling. The boat's whistle rang out, signaling we were around to dock. Blackwater was just as busy, wagons carrying loads of items to different locations and the horse's hooves clicking against the newly paved pavement. Blackwater was a place me and John Marston wanted to leave behind us, remembering how much of a bad place it was all those years ago. I think back to what happened to the Van Der Linde gang from all those years ago, how it went to shit so fast.

I couldn't help but feel upset from how many amazing people were killed because of Dutch's stupid decisions. Hosea Matthews, Lenny Summers, Sean McGuire, Kieran Duffy, Molly O'Shea, Susan Grimshaw, Eagle Flies, Leopold Strauss, and let's not forget the man who helped us all, Arthur Morgan. John hated to talk about how he died, the two were practically brothers. I was with them as we all escaped, putting his cowboy hat on John's head. It had brought tears to us both as we left him behind, telling me and John to get the hell out of there while we had the chance. Arthur told me to help John get back to his family, stick with him until things were going right.

Well, things were going right until Agent Ross and this new guy whom I had yet to meet, Agent Fordham. Agent Ross wasn't too pleased to see John when he had showed up on his doorsteps, telling him he needed to go eliminate Bill Williamson. I decided I should go help him, since I was probably one of the better people to know Bill Williamson.

Wealthy folk were around the two of us as we sat opposite sides, facing one another. John Marston was a dangerous man, but he was trying his best to change for his family. He had to, Abigail would leave him again like all those years ago. He left behind Jack and his wife to go find Bill, which honestly scared me. I would see him after all these years after I saw him with Micah, Dutch, Javier and some other men that were there. It had brought tears to my eyes to point a gun at him, I hated doing it. But he's a fool, he'd probably continue to run away from his problems until he ends up with a bullet in his skull.

The ferry stopped and soon docked at Blackwater. We both got up and out of our seats and went down the stairs of floor we were on, the both of us making eye contact. I knew John didn't want to do this, hell, this was the last thing on his mind when he was with his family. I put a hand on his shoulder and he nods to me before we get off the boat, we walk down the board that had been connected to the ferry boat. I look over the side of the railing, a figure who I had dreaded had been awaiting us, along with someone who I had yet to meet. Agent Ross and Agent Fordham.
