Reader's P.O.V

I'm still a tad confused on why exactly The Boy was still standing there, silenced apparently staring at me. A little creepy, honestly.

I shrug my shoulders and watch the sun go down, before turning in for the night.

——

I wake up in a energetic mood, I couldn't stand to be in this small room for much longer. It was a old room, holes in the walls and floor boards torn up. A few empty crates here and there, along with a table and chair, and the bed I slept on.

I stood up and went up to the door, wrapping my hand around the doorknob. I tried to twist it, but it was locked like expected to be. I let out an annoyed sigh and then pound on the door.

"Let me out! I need fresh air!" I holler and kick the door, "I'm human! Not your personal pet!" I guess I had also been starving, it's been a good day since I've had something to eat.

I bang on the door again, and it actually opens to my surprise. An angry blonde haired man who I knew stood in the door way, he had a nice bed head which made him look extremely attractive. Oh, did I mention his shirt was off too?

He put his arm on the doorframe, and squints his eyes down at me, sunlight shining in his eyes from the hole in the wall.

"Would you shut up?" He asked and then continued, "Just go get somethin' to eat, but if you try to escape, my boys'll shoot ya down." My face was slowly starting to turn a little red, and I try to avoid my eyes away from his chest.

The Boy doesn't seem to notice, still in sleepy mode. But he seems to slowly lean forward his eyelids fluttering down slightly, arm still on the door. His other arm reaches out and tilts my head up, he looked like he was completely out of it. But then he snaps out of it, and blinks a few times.

"Can you teach me how to shoot a gun?" I ask him, and seems to slowly gain his posture back then crossed his arms.

"What's it to me?" He asks, raising an eyebrow slowly.

I sigh quietly and then say, "I've always wanted to learn, my father wouldn't even let me in a 10 foot radius near his rifles. Maybe I could be a little of help if you taught me." I said with a grin, keeping my hopes up. I wanted a change of scenery, not always having to sit and learn ridiculous table manners.

Or know what's the difference between the 3 forks at the dinner table, the two spoons and the knives. I wanted to be able to laugh out aloud without being judged by guests or my family telling me to quiet down.

"No, you ain't got the guts to kill a man in cold blood. You might have the mouth, sure, but all you are is bark, no bite." The Boy says harshly, and I blink a few times before seeing him quickly turn on his heel and walk back to his room, shutting the door a little harshly. I stand there for a few minutes, a little defeated.
