I had pulled up to Charlie's house very early that Monday.
I doubt she would even get in the car with me, but it was worth a shot after how shitty I've been to her.
She walked out and ignored my car parked in front.
I got out of my car and walked next to her.
"Charlie where are you going?" I asked her.
"School." She mumbled.
"You are walking?" I asked her.
She nodded.
"Come on Charlie I'll give you a ride, plus I think it's going to rain." I said looking up at the sky and the dark clouds forming over our heads.
She shook her head.
"Okay." I said walking next to her.
"James go back to your car I'm fine." She said.
I knew she was still mad at me.
I heard it thunder and a few drops fell, then it started pouring.
She walked along like nothing was happening.
"Charlie come on." I said wrapping my coat around her shoulders.
She flinched lightly at my touch but accepted the jacket on her shoulders.
I walked back to my car and drove to where she was walking and got out of the car.
"Charlie, I'm not letting you walk to school in the pouring rain no matter how pissed you are at me." I said.
I got out of the car and walked over to her, and without saying a word I picked her up and placed her into the passenger seat.
She struggled to get out of my grip but soon realized I wouldn't let her walk.
She sighed and looked out the window the entire time.
Once I got to school I stopped the car and locked it so she wouldn't leave just yet.
"Unlock the doors." She demanded.
"Charlie, if it makes you feel any better, I broke up with Abigail." I said.
She looked at me with wide eyes and I unlocked the car.
She left the car without saying another word.

Later that day I was sitting in my room alone doing some home work.
I hadn't heard from James since he told me that he broke up with Abigail.
I have no idea why he would break up her, they seemed extremely happy with each other.
It was still raining from this morning and it was not making my mood any better.
I heard my phone ring.
James.
I decided to answer it, I don't know why.
"Hi." I said in a monotone voice.
"Don't look out your window." I heard him say and then he hung up.
I groaned and peered over to the window.
There he was standing in the pouring rain with his guitar.
I opened the window.
"James what are you doing?" I yelled at him standing in the pouring rain.
