Keith's POV
Keith swung the door open, recognising the familiar sound of the bell as it swung. The man from the counter looked up, his hair had been slicked back with what looked like a whole tub of gel and was wearing black suspenders over his white dress shirt. He carried on scrubbing the counter as he waved towards Keith. Making his way towards the counter, Keith halfheartedly smiled and pulled out a bar stool.
"Keith right?" His voice was deep and smooth, like raw honey.
Keith nodded, probably a little to nervously because the guy smirked slightly.
"Rio, we spoke over the phone. No need to be nervous kid, you've done this before."
Keith bit his lip out of anxiety, and took a sip of the drink that Rio had placed in front of him.
"Yea, just first night nerves."
Rio nodded in agreement and started to shine the glasses, Keith took it as an opportunity to look around. There were two stages with poles at the end, multiple tables and back rooms. The lights were on full blast at the time but would be dimmed down at night.
Keith turned back as he heard something being placed in-front of him, a small black bag.
"Everything you'll need is in here, if you ever need a top up then just ask."
Keith raised an eyebrow and reached into the bag, pulling out a few things: painkillers, a set of keys and a handful of condoms. He was about to push them all back inside when he felt another small item at the bottom of the bag, he pulled it out to inspect it. A small black button on a keychain.
"What's this?" Keith held up the keychain.
"Oh, that's the help button. If anything ever happens and you need help, just press it and it'll let us know." Rio's warm expression faded and turned serious, which scared Keith.
"I know what happened, last time you were in a place like this." Rio turned back to his glasses and finished polishing them, eventually going into the back room for a moment.
Keith headed towards the staff door to get himself changed, pulling out his keys to unlock it.
After unlocking the door, he pushed it open to be greeted with 3 girls, who stared back at him.
The girls were all very attractive, one of them, looked around the same age as Keith, maybe younger. She had striking pink hair and a nose piercing, her outfit was a slim tight bikini, pink stars and tights. Next to her were two girls of similar height, one with dark black hair and pale skin and the other with a warm brown skin tone. They were all in outfits already and seemed to be catching up.
The girl with pink hair jumped on top of the sofa, resting her head in her hand as she looked Keith up and down.
"You must be Keith, I'm Laci." She held out a hand and Keith reluctantly took it, shaking it politely.
"Yep. Nice to meet you." Keith grinned, showing his pearly whites.
Laci's skin was covered in a light pink tone and she buried her head in her hands.
The other girls stepped foward and the black haired girl practically stared into his soul.
"I'm Kendra. My stage name is Ruthie. That's Abbie." Keith looked a lot like Kendra, the two were similar height, had striking black hair and both looked quite intimidating.
"We have to choose stage names?" Keith raised his eyebrow.
Laci and Abbie nodded their heads while Kendra deadpanned.
"Yep, you can choose something cute or just a different name." Kendra shrugged her shoulders and sat next to Laci, swinging a hand around her shoulder and kissing her on the cheek.
Keith stared at the two and Kendra shot back disgusted looks.
"You're homophobic?" Kendra's eyes stared at him and he thought he could've passed out.
"No, well you're actually very wro-." Laci cut Keith off before he could finish.
"You think us being together is wrong?" Laci pouted her lips towards Keith.
Kendra stood face to face with Keith.
Keith chuckled to himself and raised his eyebrows at the two.
"Let me finish. You're very wrong in what you're saying." Kendra looked frustrated and rested her hands on her hips.
Keith pointed towards his ring finger.
"I am in-fact gay. My soulmate, is a guy." Keith smirked to himself once more and Kendra seemed to loosen up."Fuck sake, I thought we were going have to stab you with a high heel or something." Kendra huffed and scratched at her legs, pulling on the fishnets she was wearing.
Laci looked up and stared at Keith's ring, normally people with soulmates never came to brothels. The ring was grey (sad) with a slight hint of yellow (happy) on the edges. She would've told Keith, who probably hadn't realised that his soulmate was sad, but a distraction from work was a big deal in their case.
"I'm assuming your costume is under your jacket? You can put it in the lockers over there." Laci pointed to a row of black lockers and handed him a key labelled 7. Keith nodded and pulled his jacket off, shoving all of his things into his locker except his heels which he changed into and placed his trainers in the locker with the rest of the stuff.
"Please don't look at me, this job isn't my exact dream. I'd rather not have much attention." Keith's outfit was scandalous, his stature was confident and the girls started wolf whistling, earning an eye roll from the male.
"Let me do your makeup!" Lexi pushed Keith into a chair and grabbed at her makeup palettes.
Keith stared at his ring and sighed, wondering what Lance was doing.
(A/N I know it's getting a little bit confusing but Keith is a stripper/prostitute and Lance gets abused by his Father. Neither of their lives are perfect and that's why their relationship is going to be complicated.)
I hope you enjoyed it! This chapter was just meeting his new co-workers and explaining the relationships with them.
