This chapter is dedicated to my Keith/Kirkle.
Hey guys, I'm back from my little break. I hope this chapter is better for you and you really get a feel for the ANGER.

Lance's POV

Lotor.

The name was surfacing around Lance's head, he couldn't help but feel like he recognised the rather unique name, like he'd met him before. Nevertheless, Lance hated him with his whole heart, Lotor had hurt this soulmate, emotionally damaged Keith and Lance had to be there for him in the tough times, to be there for Keith when he broke down.

After the previous night, Keith was exhausted in Lance's arms - it was clear that he wasn't going to wake up anytime soon. The conversation had brought up old memories, conversations and events that he had tried so hard to push to the back of his mind. Lance would've found out eventually, so it was just best that Keith told him himself, that he let Lance see the raw emotion that came with the reality that was his past. Being seen as weak was something that he had always despised, so talking about things that upset Keith was always out of the picture, but Lance seemed to make Keith want to open up completely.

At the current time, they were both cuddled up on the sofa, Lance had moved them so that he could watch anime whilst Keith slept. Keith's hair stuck up in unnatural ways, a few strands often tickling him, causing him to shuffle in his spot. His lip ring shone slightly, it was now a plain silver which matched his ear piercings. The crinkles on his shirt were evident but it added to the rough, tired look he was sporting and Lance wouldn't have had it any other way. His soulmate didn't need to put on a front for him, to hide what he was feeling, because that wasn't what he was for. Emotional support, love, a true bond and a healthy relationship was what Keith needed, and Lance was going to use everything in his power to make sure that Keith got it.

Stirring in his sleep, Keith rolled over, seemingly too far as he left the comfort of Lance's arms and fell onto the floor.

"Ugh... Hmmmn.... L-Lance why are we in the living room?" Keith said groggily, his voice was slightly hoarse from crying the previous night.

"Because it's 3pm and you wouldn't wake up, plus I wanted to watch Blue Exorcist." Lance pointed to the TV which was paused on a picture of a demon.

"You watched it without me? How dare you betray me like this." Pulling himself from the floor, Keith stared at Lance who had made himself comfortable on the sofa, he missed the warmth of his soulmate and debated crawling back into Lance's arms.

"Well what did you want me to do? You were practically knocked out?" Lance flailed his arms around, and pouted afterwards.

"Hmph." the smaller boy crossed his arms over his chest and slumped towards the kitchen, pouring himself a bowl of cereal as the TV played Voltron instead.

After finishing his breakfast, Keith had a shower and went with his usual routine, expecting Lance to do the same. Although, when he returned to the sofa, Lance was fully dressed, slipping on his blue vans.

"Where are you going?" Keith raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

"I'm going to uh... help Hunk choose some flowers for Shay. I won't be too long." Keith put on a sour expression, he wanted Lance to stay with him and cuddle, like they normally did.

Lance felt his heart ache when he saw Keith, he wanted to stay with him too, but he had something he needed to do before he could be sure of Keith's safety.

"Fine." Keith kissed his teeth and took Lance's place on the sofa, secretly snuggling into the remaining warmth and smell of his soulmate.

"Keith don't be like that, It's Hunay's anniversary. Plus Hunk asked me to do this ages ago with him so he knew before but I kinda forgot." Lance pressed a kiss on top of Keith's forehead and turned to the door.
