I scratched another line onto the tally that was etched into my stone wall. Each line represented a week, each group represented a month. There were three groups. Three months. Three months in this shit hole, with the shitty people. Three months away from dad, and Jug and Sweet Pea. The tattoo had fully healed and looked worse than ever. It literally took up a tiny area of my stomach, but your eyes were immediately drawn to its outrageous and disgusting design.
Penny was starting to be strangely nice. She made the gang members find cool stuff for my room, so at the moment I had hanging fairy lights and tapestries adorning my boring grey walls. They also got me a phone, a really good one too. Malachi has to check it everyday though to make sure I wasn't doing anything I shouldn't be.
Suddenly, a knock echoed through my room and without an immediate answer they rudely walked in. I didn't even have to look to know that it was Malachi. Speaking of Malachi, I did have some plans that could get me out of here, but it wasn't going to be pretty or exciting at all.
"Penny wants to see you"
"What do I owe the pleasure?" I said sarcastically, and he just laughed whilst biting his lip flirtatiously at me.
I shrugged it off and followed the boy, downstairs and into the bar area.
I sat down next to Penny, and she slid a drink over to me which I gladly took. Taking a sip, I immediately identified it as gin and lemonade, my favourite.
"Hey, dipper" She grinned.
My heart sunk. Dipper. They couldn't call me that.
"Hey, mom" I replied sarcastically.
"Funny you should say that! So now your part of the ghoulies we need you to have a new style, you know change up your hair abit? You're completely blonde and it makes me gag every time I see you" She said dramatically, and I picked up a piece of my extremely blonde hair sadly.
"What are you wanting I do to it then?" I asked, a small pout on my lips.
"Well, I want you to choose. Go crazy, dipper" She smirked, gulping some of her drink down.
"Why don't you get the same as penny? Like mother like daughter" Malachi chimed in from behind me and made my jaw clench.
(Okay So it turns out that penny does not have pink tips, but I swore she did so just go with it)
"Oh my god we can be pink buddies" She squealed in a mimicking squeaky voice.
"Yay" I replied with the same amount of sarcasm as before.
"I like that idea" She said, and picked up some of my hair.
"So, pink it is then?" I huffed.
I hate pink. The last time I wore pink was when Midge helped me get ready for my second date with Sweet Pea. That brought back both good and terrible memories of my life that I didn't want to be repeated where I am now.
"Yep" She grinned, popping the 'p'.
"Let's go then" She smiled menacingly, and off we went.

I cringed at my appearance in the mirror. It looked quite nice in all honesty, but the fact that I looked like my mom made my stomach churn. It was only as I started living here that I realised the resemblance that I shared with the woman, same hair, same eyes. It was scary really, as we didn't share any of the same characteristics, despite our similar appearance.
They even cut a fringe into my hair to make me look just like her, it was like they were trying to make me a clone of Penny. At the moment, I wasn't so sure why, but I will find out at some point. The whole ordeal was beginning to seem more normal, although it was definitely the opposite of that.
"Looking hot, dipper" A voice said from behind me, and I looked in the mirror to see Malachi leaning against the door frame.
I just turned and gave him a raised eyebrow.
This was the plan: try and get Malachi wrapped around my finger. Unfortunately, this meant that I had to most likely do things that I wouldn't particularly want to do, but if it meant possibly getting back to my family then every moment would be fully worth it.
"Malachi..." I began nervously, walking over to him.
"Yeah?" He said, with a now husky and flirtatious voice, as he squared up to push out his muscular chest.
"I was thinking, I'm going to be in here a while huh?" I asked.
"You're a ghoulie now, you'll be here for a while yeah" He smirked, leaning closer to me.
His breath hit my face and a whiff of tobacco and mint hit my senses.
"Well, I was wondering.." I started, trying to act all flirtatious.
"Go on" He licked his lips.
"Never mind... it was silly of me" I pretended to giggle, and turned away to compose myself. How do I say this without being too obvious. He seemed to fall for it though, as I felt a hand grip my forearm and spun me around gently.
"You don't have to say it, I know exactly what you mean" He said, leaning in slowly.
I quickly pressed my hands against his chest firmly.
"Sweet Pea" I suddenly blurted.
The guilt was overpowering, and I couldn't believe that I was even considering this decision, but it was worth it if I executed it perfectly.
"Where is he? I don't see him trying to find you" Malachi stated, keeping his warm hands gripped around my forearms gently.
"Fuck it" I shrugged, and leaned in to meet the gang members lips.
What shit did I manage to stir up this time?
