I twisted the handlebars of my bike, making it go much quicker than advised, however it was past twelve meaning the roads were pretty much empty.

I could hear the faint jingle of my phone; sounding like it was about to explode with the number of notifications it was receiving.

I was beyond fuming, and it didn't help that a myriad of storm clouds gathered over my head, draining whatever contents they had over me.

I went to the only place that I knew I'd be welcomed, despite the history.

"Ally?" Archie asked, seeing my soaking frame shivering, without a jacket, in his doorway.

"I need your help" I pleaded, he nodded quickly and ushered me inside.

He let me wear one of his baggy shirts and take a shower, him and his dad welcoming me in with open arms.

"Thank you so much, Archie" I thanked, for what must have been the hundredth time tonight.

"It's completely fine, but if I could ask, what happened?" He asked curiously.

"Of course, it's the least I could do. Basically Malachi has been leaving me threatening notes, and I was scared obviously but thought it was just a mind game. Anyway, the whole group was babying me, and I got so angry and snapped. Well then Jughead said something awful to me and I just quit" I admitted.

"What did he say?" He urged me to continue.

"I'd just finished asking why they were babying me over everyone else, and he said- and I quote; No Ally, but if I recall, you're the only one that got raped"

"Well shit Jughead, he's really messed that one up this time" Archie sighed, shaking his head in disappointment.

"So I threw my jacket at him and now I'm here" I forced myself to smile and giggled, looking back up at the red-head.

"Well you're welcome any time... actually I'm having a party here- tomorrow night. I could get Jughead out of the trailer, and you could grab some party clothes quickly and come back? You could stay here again" he offered.

"That would be amazing" I smiled.

"Cool, it's sorted then, Betty has been saying she wanted to see you" he grinned.

"Oh god Betty! I feel like I haven't seen her in years" I chuckled, thinking of when we ate pizza in her bed after the funeral.

"Well she'll be there, so you have lots of catching up time. Just to warn you Reggie will be there too..." he warned.

"Oh I can handle him"I laughed.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot" he added scratching his neck, "I'm so sorry about what happened at your party. I was so drunk and I swear everything I said wasn't me" he apologised sincerely.

"It's fine Arch, we were all the same" I replied, snuggling into my friends chest, as he hugged back, comforting me.

The plan to get my clothes had succeeded and I was currently getting changed with Betty at her place.

"It's so amazing to see you again, it feels like so long" I commented happily.

It's strange. I feel happier right now than I have in the past year, I wonder why that was? I was back to normality I guess, no gangs or feuds, not that I knew of anyway.

"I know right, even though me and Jug see each other all the time, you're always with Sweet Pea" she laughed, giving me a small pout.

"But we're here now, and we're going to a party where I can drown my sorrows in alcohol" I grinned, rolling my eyes as I spun around on the spiny chair.

"I think we all deserve that" she groaned, applying some lipgloss to her plump lips.

She began to tie her hair up in her signature pony, but I walked over to her, pulling her hands down and showing her the mirror.

"It looks good down" I smiled.

"Yeah?" She asked, playing with some stray pieces.

"Definitely" I nodded.

It took us another hour to change, and I decided to wear my burgundy skirt with a black bandeau along with some black strappy heels. My tattoo was completely on show, but my jacket was no longer glued to my back, which hopefully sent a message to the party-goers.

"Ready" I smiled, standing up and holding Betty's hands.

"Look how gorgeous we both look" she commented, staring at ourselves in the mirror.

"Yeah yeah, let's go!" I hurried her, rushing out the door and over to Archie's.

We let ourselves in and the party had already begun, games of pool and beer pong were taking place and the pungent smell of alcohol was prominent in the room.

Archie immediately welcomed us in, offering us a drink which I obviously took. I almost downed it and walked over to the pool table to watch a few rounds.

Drink after drink. Song after song. It was like the party was more fun the longer it went on, I was forgetting everything that had happened the previous day. I think I noticed Jughead enter, but I turned away quickly and I think he became preoccupied but Betty anyway.

Reggie was being surprisingly pleasant, but I wasn't sure if that was my true mind or the alcohol speaking now. Either way he was a good dancer and was actually entertaining me on the 'dance floor'. A few of the other bulldogs were getting pretty close to me, but I really didn't give a shit at this point, I can't help what happens when I'm drunk I guess?

I felt a tug on my arm, and assuming it was a bulldog I pulled it away. However it came back and this time it spun me around. I came face to face with Jughead.

"What?"I growled at him.

"It's Malachi" he said sternly.

"And?" I said impatiently.

"He's here. Now"
