Urana blinks, she didn't recognize her surroundings. It's all dark with nothing in sight. She rests onto her elbows, finding that she was lying down.
A large white screen appears before her-much like sitting in a movie theater-Urana curiously tilts her head. She sits upright, watching a memory she sees so often.
Her blue eyes widen as she watches a prominent memory in the woman's life. Urana figures it's Hiromi but didn't want to jump to conclusions.
The adult Ku takes off his mask and Urana envies how good-looking he looks. Ku takes back the sword he held to her neck.
The woman opens her mouth to speak but the memory switches to another one. This one Urana didn't recognize. She focuses onto the screen, her attention only on the memory.
----
Ku stood at the bottom of a street. It is lined with candle lights-probably outside of the apartments. He held something behind his back, and nervously shuffled his feet.
The woman walks through the rose petals on the ground and followed the trail of candle lights. She smiled as she spotted Ku at the end of the street.
"What's all this for?" Hiromi questioned as she stood directly in front of Ku.
"Hiromi," Ku held out a single gold rose out to her. "From the moment we met to work together on a case...I always knew that I may just walk in love with you. Will you join me in walking in love with each other?"
Hiromi let out a small gasp, she covered her mouth with one hand as she took the golden rose.
"I will," Hiromi smiled and Ku instantly lit up. He held Hiromi's hands and went on his toes in excitement. "But damn you're corny as hell."
"Hey! I tried!" Ku pouts.
"I know and it's the best confession I've ever had," Hiromi placed the rose in her loose hair. "And just so you know, I liked you first."
"That's not possible, I liked you first," Ku let out a happy laugh.
"Nope. I did first," Hiromi crossed her arms across her chest.
"Okay fine, but I did first," Ku grinned as they held hands. They walked along the street, Ku used his magic to clean up the petals and candles.
----
Urana claps her hands together, wiping away a small tear. As corny as it was, it was so heartfelt that Urana could feel how much faith Ku put into this.
He lost his parents...his sister. His previous mate was a sort of a crazy mage and life just didn't treat Ku kindly.
"He really loves Hiromi," Urana smiles, feeling all warm and happy on the inside. "I want someone to love me too..."
Unfortunately, the big screen in front of her didn't just show the woman's thoughts-it's showing Urana's as well.
As if she's watching a movie-well, reliving a memory-Urana anxiously bites her lip as she watches the scene play out in front of her.
----
"Hey, um, can we talk?" Owen hesitantly stepped into Urana's room. Urana glanced over.
"Sure," she replied, noting that Owen wasn't looking her in the eye. He had his gaze fixed to the ground.
He was totally nervous.
Urana focused herself on the earth mage that stood in front of her. Owen took a deep breath before he opened his mouth to speak.
"What's going on with you?" Owen questioned and Urana now nervously looked to the ground. "You're not saying anything and I'm really worried about you Urana...why do you keep on hiding things? You can talk to me...you say you know you can but you never do."
